Married at First Sight

Oh yes, I am hooked again this season.

I have a new guilty pleasure for sure.

**Also, the show that follows called "Arranged" is crazy especially the young gypsy couple who are 17 & 18. OMG too much......

I don' think any of the couples are likable this season. Last year Jamie and Courtney and Doug and Jason were likable.

I thought Davina and Sean were going to be good. But I have to admit that I was kinda grossed out at their wedding when they were kissing like that after just meeting a few hours earlier...EWWWW....
But they are now just a hot mess and I'm not sure which one is worse really. She is very needy and he is just plain strange.
Ryan D and Jessica, He's a hot head and she's a little passive aggressive. I don't think they will work.
Ryan R and Jacqueline are cute as can be, hope they make it.

I agree, it's my guilty pleasure. They do seem to follow a pattern.

I am glad to see Jaclyn coming around. Ryan seems like such a nice guy. Davina and Sean seemed so good in the beginning, but not sure where there are going to end up. I don't think Ryan and Jessica will make it. I wouldn't stick around for the blow-ups, and if he had called my piercings and tattoos (not that I personally have either) "trashy" on my honeymoon, he would have been out of there.

I am, but it seems like the couples are exactly the same as first season. The couple who have instant chemistry and then can't get along, the cute couple with problems and then the couple who she doesn't like him then realizes he's prince charming. But I'm hooked.

I know-I was even screaming at the TV at that couple with the instant chemistry "Didn't you watch the first season? You guys are DOOMED!"

I'm totally hooked on this after watching a marathon of last season right before 2nd season started.

Jaclyn annoyed me to no end at the beginning but now I love them the best. I'm a little nervous for next week's show though. I hope he's not just putting on a strong front for the cameras. She's a bit overbearing and he seems like such a momma's boy so I know he has to be hurting about being so far from home.

Ryan and Jessica seem cute together but man she needs to speak up for herself and he needs some counseling for being a control freak. I mean seriously with the ironing on the bed? I did not understand his problem with that. He just kept saying "We have to SLEEP there." Was the hot iron still going to be in the bed when they slept? I wonder if counseling would help them?

Davina and Sean make me sad to watch them. Ok, so he shouldn't have agreed to move on his questionnaire but she is soooo needy. I mean, your talking about a man who just met you 3 days ago and she was crying for 2 days about how he couldn't read her mind when she said it was beautiful scenery! That was supposed to mean "hold me and tell me how wonderful I am and cry with me!" She needs to let go of her past and he needs to be honest. I don't see them making it work.

Ryan isn't far from home. Aren't they living in the city (queens? Brooklyn?) he's from LI.

They both moved half way to the mid point. "Far" is different to many people. I thought they said he was 40 miles from LI and with traffic is was 2ish hours or something. That would be far considering he lived at home for 28 years and the only person he now lives nearby he's only known for 1 week.

It appears their homes were about 40 miles apart, putting NYC right in between them. Both are about 40 minutes from home now, without traffic. If they work where they used to live, both would at least be going against the worst traffic. Most people in this are don't blink at an hour commute. Public transportation is good.

I'm glad to see lots of you are watching again this season! I thought I was the only one!

I really liked Ryan D and Jessica at first. Ryan seems a little too obsessed with his grandparents' marriage though. He says nasty things to Jessica because he thinks that is what his grandfather did to his grandmother. Huh? There's a world of difference between a couple married 50 years and a couple married 2 weeks. He shouldn't expect Jessica to understand his logic after only a couple of weeks. And she needs to learn to speak up. They will never make it if he is going to continue blowing up at her and storming out instead of talking it out. He also is starting to seem a little OCD to me. The whole ironing on the bed thing was crazy, as was his passive aggressive comment about her not cooking dinner for him after she said she liked to cook.

Ryan and Jaclyn are this season's Doug and Jamie. I am glad she looked past the superficial stuff and is getting to know him better. I think they have a shot at making it. The only problem they may run into though is his strong feeling of responsibility to his mother and niece. If he starts putting them ahead of his wife they may run into trouble.

I am on the fence with Davina and Sean. She seems to expect him to be a mind reader, and he obviously becomes withdrawn when confronted with change. At least he is making an attempt to work it out by seeking help from the expert. She is seriously clingy and needy though. She needs to get a grip.

It's funny, but I can honestly see the flaws in all of them. It's easy to see why they all have had such a hard time finding someone in the past. It will be interesting to see which couples are going to be willing to put in the work to make these marriages last.

Did any of you watch the Doug and Jamie vow renewal special? I thought it was just beautiful, and they seem very much in love and committed to making their marriage work. I hope they give another update on Cortney and Jason. They seemed a little rocky there at the end of the show.

Follow Jamie on FB she truly a amazing person!
I hope Courtney and Jason make it

Jaclyn and Ryan are the only ones with a chance. The other two I don't think are good for each other at all.

This - agree 100%!!! Friends of mine who watch it say Sean and Davina are meant to be - um, nope, I think they are the most damaged!!! Sean has MAJOR issues. As for Ryan and Jessica (one of my friends called him Chachi LOL), yeah they are both just so immature. Bleck.

I watched Jamie and Doug's vow renewal,it was beautiful. I felt so bad for her and the situation between herself and her mom. I have such respect because she will not give up on her mom and just really wants her to be a part of her life even after all the trauma of her childhood. She has a beautiful heart.
I could not stand her in the beginning, but she melted me throughout the season. I wish them the best.
I see a reality show coming up for them as a couple, especially when she becomes pregnant.

Ryan and Jaclyn remind me of Doug and Jamie. She didn't like his looks anything at first. They are so romantic together. Glad she changed him from friend zone , I was afraid when she did the ordering for him etc and didn't like his Christmas present. At least he tries.

I will give Sean a break, I know he said he would move but going from a big house to a little apartment and out of his element must be hard. He can't read her mind, and that is one heck of a commute to go to his 12 hour job.

Ryan and Jessica , can't see them staying together. She really needs to speak up more that closet thing was just crazy. Just tell him you want some closet too. I too would be mad about the money but would have said something when he did it not let it go for so long. Not sure what they said on the forms to make the compatiable.

I love this show! I am not a big reality show fan, but I can't get enough of this! I agree on pretty much what the last few posters said.

Ryan and Jacklyn (sp?) are the only couple that seems like they will make it IMHO. Jessica and the other Ryan seem young and immature, and Sean and Davina just don't seem like they are ready for this or into this or whatever. Ryan and Jacklyn are very cute and it's pretty obvious that they're into this and into each other. Weren't they statistically the best match according to the people who did the choosing?
