We have just completed our marriage license via mail. We use the company Disney recommends http://www.sayidoweddingsinc.com/. Lynn was very helpful. After we paid our fee the documents were with us. It cost us $195.
The whole process was very simple, Lynn emailed us the marriage license to get notarized (this was the tricky part) .... England we found out does have that many notaries, and they all charge what they like.
The first one we called wanted £35 each signature
, if we wanted a seal (which we did) an extra £19 each
. We didn't go for this one.
We found one in Canterbury and he charged us £60 (actually he only charge £50, he found our it Trevor's birthday and refunded £10!)
We posted it back to Lynn, who then takes it to the court and distributes it to our Wedding Planner and our Officant.
It is a costly process, but I recommend it. It is something we don't have to worry about now and we get another day in the parks to enjoy!
