Marrakesh or Le Cellier for lunch?

I love both of these restaurants! Le Cellier is our new favorite, but have only been at dinner. If you are a big meal eater for lunch this is fine choice..Loved the salmon and for appetizer try the oriental shrimp..they come in a chinese take-out container. Marrekesh is nice with good sharing choices so you could split one entree and an apetizer for a lighter lunch. Both have good quality food!

Definitely Marrakesh. Le Cellier is nice but pretty ordinary in both food and atmosphere. At Marrakesh, you are able to eat food that is a little bit exotic and not very available in this country while being entertained by a belly dancer and musicians in a palace. We had eight or nine sitdown meals last summer and our Marrakesh lunch was my favorite. I got a "meal" that had a couple of appetizers, a beef kabob and couscous and about six glasses of the wonderful mint tea (it was July!).

I consider Marakesh one of the worst restaurants there as the food is not well prepared and is nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is fine but the food sucks. Le Cellier does a very good job at what they claim to be good at -- steaks.

I recommend the Le Cellier definitely, We had lunch there and both had the Buffalo Rib eye and then a great big chocolate ice cream desert!! Delicious!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Marrakesh. (!!!) Le Cellier is also worth your time and vacation dollars, but you can get a steak anywhere. I don't know about your town, but there sure aren't any decent Moroccan restaurants in Dayton! :)

I also respectfully beg to differ with drusba. I have eaten at Marrakesh several times (including lunch three weeks ago), and the food has always been excellent as has the service.

I've dined at Le Cellier several times for lunch and have been pleased. Last trip I tried the sirloin burger and it was excellent. I like getting an early PS. The restaurant is much less crowded and noisy.
