Marie's New Years Resolution~in July

Holy crap, lady!! That's it...I'm BUYING you a ticket to NJ and you can do the same at my house!! I can't find the time (no snow days for us yet...go figure).

Don't stress about the weigh-in. I'll bet it's better than you think. Maybe not a huge loss...but there's gotta be a loss. Pump that water in you today!!! And don't eat after 7.(worked for me this week!);)

If I don't talk to you again before...have a GREAT weekend......and

S-Banana
B-JC cereal.....forgot which one...and don't want to get up to go look :confused3
L-rotini w/ meatballs
D-fish & chips - (french fries.)
Water-40 oz
Exercise-housework....ALOT of it too!!!

Wish me luck tomorrow.....weigh in is at 8:40 am....I'm really hoping for a loss....but like i said...i just don't feel it. :confused3

Tomorrow after WI I have a few errands to run, but then it's back home to finish up the cleanup, and clean out my closet. Yay.
Gunner is asleep on my leg, and the circulation to my foot is gone.

I just thought I'd tell you that I am beating you on the mileage challenge. I know its only feb 2nd, but all the same I am winning. Just in case you didnt notice that. Not to make you feel bad or anything , I would NEVER do that. I just thought I'd bring it to your attention in case you were to busy with all that other stuff you are doing to notice. Dont let it stress you out or anything. I mean, I dont want to be a bad sport about it or anything. You MIGHT be able to catch up. I wouldnt worry about it , really I wouldnt. Its just good that youre trying. We cant all be athletes you know. :rolleyes1

Hmm, I think I can recall you feeling fat last week and you came up with a loss, how did it go this week? I'd let your counselor know that you are feling stuffed, you might be right about the calorie thing!

I hate to say it, but you're right....you are beating me in the mileage challenge....ONLY because I haven't even gotten out to the treadmill, and it's too frickin cold outside....but alas, that will all change....starting today!!! Careful Linda.....I'm headin' your way!!! pirate: :laughing:

Ok....so the weigh in went the way I figured it would this morning...-.8. Not even a full pound. :sad2: I did talk to my counselor about it, and she gave me some good info. I missed a couple of meals, and skipped a few snacks...she said that the meals are put together the way they are to boost the metabolism, and still be low in calories and fat grams. Basically, I need to eat what's on the plan....all of it, and continue working out....(and pick it up a bit) I also asked her about my Subway sandwich craving and she showed me how to look it up in the dining out book, and how to swap it out for a meal. I will only do it once....if I find that I can't kick the craving. (I've been craving it for 3 frickin' weeks...I think I can make it another one...:worried: )

So, I'm not going to change my ticker....It wasn't a full pound. ( .8 ) :confused:

Ok...off to finish the laundry, then HIT THE TREADMILL!!!! (lindaaaaaa....)

So, food today -

B-cranberry almond crunch
s-banana
L-cheese enchilada.. (i was wanting some mexican food today!!:thumbsup2 )
s-chocolate chip bar
D-salsbury steak w/ peas, carrots & potato wedges
Water-80 oz so far
Exercise - 2 miles on the treadmill (OH LINDAAAAAA!) 30 ish minutes

So, today I got around to cleaning out my closet! It took all fricking day!!! (of course I was watching a movie at the same time.....The Lake House)
I got all my shorts and summer clothes put up into the attic, and I've got a HUGE garbage bag to go to Goodwill....and here's the really major thing....I've narrowed it down to 10 pairs of shoes....(not counting summer shoes, of course!!) oh, i even ripped the carpet out of my closet too! It was nasy and it's gonna be replaced anyway. Now then, if DH will put ALL of his clothes away, the house might actually stay clean for more than a day and a half!!

Ok....so current weight is 157.2. Not gonna dwell on the .8 loss...gonna go forward and kick butt this week!!! DH is going out of town on Monday for a week, so it's gonna be tough, but i can, and will do it!!

ok....gotta pay some bills!!

So.....I got up this morning.....froze my butt off, but hit 2 miles....4/30....

now i'm tucked back in bed....trying to thaw out!!!:cold: I have to get ready in about 30 minutes...I have another photo shoot today. About 700 kids in 4 1/2 hours....it'll be 3 or 4 cameras, so it's not really that bad.

Man, what the H#!! is wrong with me?? I was doing really good today...REALLY good, until I got home from the photo shoot. I was starving...and weak! I had bought a 5 lb boston butt from a friend of mine for a fundraiser thing....well, she brought it to the shoot, and when i got home, I put it in the over w/ some BBQ sauce....it smellllled sooooo good...:sad2: so, after it was done heating up.....i figured, one sandwich will be ok...well, one would have been, but I HAD to fix a second one...I only ate half of the second one. What the hell was I thinking? Now I'm sitting here watching the SB, totally miserable and mad at myself!!! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

I second what the ladies said. You did it, and it's over now. Move on. I love that you got in all that water!! That'll help get rid of the salt in there. Maybe try a green tea today. Can you have that on JC? Do a decaf unsweet green tea with a little lemon. OR hot lemon water (doesn't taste too good) but it's GREAT for flushing out excess water you might retain from extra salt intake. Just a couple ideas...but I'm sure that won't even effect your weigh in next Saturday. Believe me....we ALL know how hard it is to have good smelling food around and not being able to stop eating it. Every single one of us has been there and done the same exact thing you did. :hug:

Sorry about the Bears. I guess now we have to be happy that they even made it to the superbowl? :confused3 :sad2:
 
Yeah....the Bears sucked yesterday....except for that 97 yard return! The defense was exhausted...glad ol' Rex got some rest and was able to sit back and watch the game from the bench!!!

I'm gonna post my food and then probably be gone for the nite...I'm watching a friend's daughter, plus I have to get the kids dinner and homework....DH is out of town....God help me!!!

I'm also not dwelling on the sandwich(s) from yesterday either. I'm taking the rest to work tomorrow and they can gorge themselves!!! I told them that I was going to bring it in, and they wanted to know what else I was making w/ it!! (it's a boston butt....pulled bbq pork sandwiches.) I said, " Excuse me....I'm bringing the meat, that I can't even eat...ya'll can come up with the rest of it...K?" :mad: :confused3 They actually thought I was gonna go buy chips and crap!! WTH....I eat my JC EVERY DAY at my desk!!!

Hey lady - you still got that CD that I sent you? Sounds to me like you need to chill out, lock yourself in the bathroom, take a bubble bath & just transport to the islands. Screw the challenges and just relax tonight. Take it easy. Meditate. Chill. Zone.

Great idea bringing the butt to work. Get it out of your house and let the other gluttons eat it up!! :rotfl:

Hope your DH is coming home soon. I know you hate it when he's not around. (as much as we complain....somehow we miss them when they're gone. Go figure. :sad2: )

ok....my DARLING daughter has really pushed her luck tonight! I told them that on Wednesday, IF they were good, we would go to Sonic for dinner. Well, she thinks we should go tonight....why....because she said so....that's why. Apperantly, I don't make the grilled cheese "squishy" enough. Oh well! So, after 30 minutes of her crying and throwing a royal kanipchion fit, ( i don't respond, which really ticks her off) I finally said, go put your pj's on and go to bed. She calmed down and we had a nice little talk. And yes, I can make "squishy" grilled cheese, and I proved it to her!! ;) (I win!)

So, DH is out of town until Friday....and I'm still out of rum. :sad1:

Actually, the kids are going to bed at 8:30, then I'll go do 30 minutes.

Oh, and let me tell you....the girls (glutons) at work...they had BIG helpings!!! I saw each one of them go back for seconds too!!! I know I didn't eat my JC, but I didn't overdo it either. I felt good about what I ate, and the portion size. Yes, it was small, but I was full, NOT stuffed when I was done.....hey, maybe i'm learning something here!!!

ok...gotta go fight w/ DD about shower time......is it friday yet?

ok...i'm a little excited right now....can ya tell?
I went to the school this morning and took some pictures of some of the Science Fair Projects....I figure, all the other schools have stuff in the paper about stuff going on, so what the heck. I took some of some winners, and some not winners....(I don't call them losers...they all tried!)
Anyway, I e-mailed them to the editor and she e-mailed me back 5 TIMES!!! 1-wow, great information...definately going in the paper asap! 2 - great pics btw!!! 3- can you do a write-up to go along w/ the captions and pics? would love to do a story for the school! 4- nevermind, i put a story together for it....this is really great!! 5 - what is your title w/ the school? Do you have more events that you can cover for the school / and paper? Really great pics!!

OMG! I'm way to wound up to sleep right now!! Yes, it's only going to be 2 or 3 pictures on one of the back pages, but still....I'M GONNA BE PUBLISHED!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

ok...i just called DH...woke him up...he thinks I'm nuts..he's right...oh well.
