Mardi Gras ??

I plan on going to Florida in late Feb/early March when both
Universal and Disney(pleasure Island) host their Mardi Gras'
on the weekends.
Are either of these celebrations worth planning around ?
Are they both kid friendly or more geared toward adults ?

Mardi Gras at PI is nothing to write home about. It a parade and not much else.

Been to both. Mardi gras at PI was fun .....but haven't been in the past few years
We went to Mardi Gras at Universal last yr and had a great time. I think they carry the theme alot further than Disney does.
I found Mardi gras at Universal is alot of fun for both adults and kids.
At PI, I think it is geared more towards adults.
As it closer, check the universal sights to see what bands will be there. I know Lynyrd Skynyrd will be there while we are there. A couple of years go Pat Benatar was there.

Yes, everyone go to Universal on Mardi Gras day so I can have Disney all to myself
