We are heading to Universal and would like some information on the Sat. night Mardi Gras. What to expect. We were wondering if we should purchase tickets to allow us to go two weekends in a row. I was just wondering if it would be worth it.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Mardi Gras is not a seperately ticketed event. It is included in your park admission for the day.

This website tells you about Mardi Gras last year:

Mardi Gras 2004

Edited to add: I did see that last year they offered an after 5:00 ticket for Mardi Gras for $39.

What I was asking is it worth spending the money for the performance? We have 7 day tickets allready and were wondering if we should get a one doay ticket for that additional Sat.? I saw the special price for after 5 at night. How do you know what bands are scedualed? Does the list come out soon?

I can't say if it is worth it. I guess it depends on if you like the band. Go the first Saturday with your 7 day tickets and see if it is worth it to you to buy a ticket for the next Saturday.

I go every weekend of Mardi gras and I think it is worth it but your mileage may vary.

We don't know when they will announce the final list of bands. Just keep checking the website.
