Yesterday I did Bob Harper Kettlebells for 30 min.

When I plan to use my garmin, sometimes I'll set it outside on my porch while I change so it can find satellites. I am so impatient. But yes, sometimes it takes forever. I've heard it's worse when you travel or return from travel. I have the 610x I think. If I'm running away from home, sometimes I hold it by my steering wheel as I drive hoping it will find a signal by the time I get there.

We do all the same things. And yes, I think it sometimes takes longer when we travel. We take our garmin everywhere, cause it's fun to run in new places.

Thanks for sharing the breathing tip. My pt pushes diaphragmatic breathing and I think it's hard! But definitely worth trying the breathing stuff while running. If nothing else it will be a nice distraction.:goodvibes
 

Seems like a lot of folks here have worked hard to earn their corned beef and cabbage dinner tonight! LOL. As for me, I want to add a half pint of Guinness to my supper, so.....

I've gotten a little behind with my son being sick so I will have to make sure I do something everyday to catch up.

Friday- 60 minutes walking
Sunday- 40 minutes walking, 30 minutes running

Today's my B-day, so lots of cake and chocolate to work off this coming week!

2 walks today - 45 min and 30 min takes me to

Attempted to start my half mile intervals Saturday and got one done before the DH showed up to tell me my phone rang with an on call problem. Ugh!

3/16 - 9 minutes

Was able to get in SOME of my intervals on Sunday before my new IT band issue started acting up!:sad: I have less than 2 weeks until my next half and I have to admit I am :scared1:!! I've been able to make it only 4 miles before I start feeling it and by 5, my knee is killing me - even if I stop all the time to stretch. I'm only going to stick with power walking for the next two weeks and hope that will give it enough time to rest. I hope that by not running or doing the elliptical at all, and doing some intense PT until race day, that I'll be able to finish. :rolleyes2 Here's to hoping my PT can perform a miracle!

After this I think I'll give running a complete break until I come back from Italy in June and get going on training for the Wine and Dine. Keep your fingers crossed for me!pixiedust:
