Today's my B-day, so lots of cake and chocolate to work off this coming week!
2 walks today - 45 min and 30 min takes me to

Attempted to start my half mile intervals Saturday and got one done before the DH showed up to tell me my phone rang with an on call problem. Ugh!
3/16 - 9 minutes
Was able to get in SOME of my intervals on Sunday before my new IT band issue started acting up!I have less than 2 weeks until my next half and I have to admit I am
!! I've been able to make it only 4 miles before I start feeling it and by 5, my knee is killing me - even if I stop all the time to stretch. I'm only going to stick with power walking for the next two weeks and hope that will give it enough time to rest. I hope that by not running or doing the elliptical at all, and doing some intense PT until race day, that I'll be able to finish.
Here's to hoping my PT can perform a miracle!
After this I think I'll give running a complete break until I come back from Italy in June and get going on training for the Wine and Dine. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
