Attempted to start my half mile intervals Saturday and got one done before the DH showed up to tell me my phone rang with an on call problem. Ugh!

3/16 - 9 minutes

Was able to get in SOME of my intervals on Sunday before my new IT band issue started acting up!:sad: I have less than 2 weeks until my next half and I have to admit I am :scared1:!! I've been able to make it only 4 miles before I start feeling it and by 5, my knee is killing me - even if I stop all the time to stretch. I'm only going to stick with power walking for the next two weeks and hope that will give it enough time to rest. I hope that by not running or doing the elliptical at all, and doing some intense PT until race day, that I'll be able to finish. :rolleyes2 Here's to hoping my PT can perform a miracle!

After this I think I'll give running a complete break until I come back from Italy in June and get going on training for the Wine and Dine. Keep your fingers crossed for me!pixiedust:

You said your Garmin ran out of power when you ran. Mine takes longer to find the satellites when it is low on power. My iPhone died too many times when I was doing long runs so I gave in and bought a Garmin ;)

Yup - same reason here. I got really annoyed with it and my battery dies super fast on my phone anyway... not worth the hassle! I love getting to see all your splits and info afterwards, too.

I did Taebo today for the first time in FOREVER! Billy Blanks is not the best counter, but those workouts kick my bootie :rotfl2: That lasted 54 minutes so I walked the stairs and little cardio movements for 6 more minutes to make an even 60 minutes.

625/1250. Walking and alternating carrying a 5 year old and a three year old. I am jjust now feeling 90% healed and I have been a total slacker. Time to get back in the saddle
 
Well on Sat I managed to get to 320/620. On Sun I went to my gym and did cybex and some jogging for an hour. Today I got up and hit the hotel gym super early 25 min cardio and swung some kbells for five minutes. 410/620 is my new total. Hope everyone is on track and staying healthy!

I got in a 45 minute run last night. It felt good to get back into running, but I can definitely feel it in my calves today! So my new total is:

640/1000. I'm getting there. You are all such a motivating group! :)
