Marching Band!

I have concert band everyday for homeroom. we go outside and march the whole month of september. plus, i have jazz band elective every other day. plus, saxophone sectionals for an hour after school every week. plus, saxophone lessons every friday night for half an hour. plus, full marching band rehearsal for 3 hours every wednesday night. it's INTENSE! (but i love it =)

When do you start your football games? My first is on the 26th. I can't wait!

We normally have a game the first friday in september...but we don't have one until the 19th this year ):

I play clarinet. I use a 3.
I've played for eight years.
I'm a juinor.
Yes, we have band camp. And I hate it.
I hate practice, too.
The only things I enjoy and games and band trips.
We're going to Disney again this year. =]
We march in MK once, and then just have fun for 3 more days.
We went to VA Beach and Busch Gardens last year. We didn't even take our instruments. We just went to this military band thing, it was pretty boring.

Instrument: Trumpet
Years you have played that instrument: 6 years [2nd year in marching band ]
Year: Sophomore [10th]
Do you have marching band "camp": yeah =D it was 5 days in august from 2:00-9:00.

Show: Asian Dances =D

We went to Disney last year and did the MK parade which was the most fun parade that i have ever done cause the citrus parade and fourth of july parades are not fun at all.

and i have to do that 7 more times this autumn. not mentioning extra concert band/jazz band rehearsals.

oh god.
i have your typical marching band shizz, then a couple weeks, concert band will start. so i guess i'm lucky.
you're so dedicated!

hey, thanks! i absolutely cannot wait :goodvibes my only conflict is i have to go to a private lesson right in the middle of rehearsal..ugh.

How did everyone's first game go?

Me, it rained on Friday. We wore just dinkles, band pants, and rain coats. Most of the instruments played the first two quarters and halftime. The upper woodwinds (me) played from the second half of the first quarter through halftime. It was a home game, so we had halftime. We played at a standstill, but we played all 3 songs!

We played the school song for our team when they came back at the end of halftime, and put everything away. Once we did that, it stopped raining. We all agreed to keep our instruments packed up, though. During the last quarter, the everyone in our stands were chanting various things. A couple guys made a D fence sign. :rotfl:

Our team ended up winning 21 -7. =]

I guess this fits in here...
I have a crush on someone in marching band? xD Hahaha.
