we do not have it this year-im a freshman-and they get to go to WDW to play for like, 5 min. and the rest of the time, they get to partay.

The name's Jaimie. I'm reppin' the upper woodwinds section, more specifically clarinet. Sophomore. 2nd year in band, 6th year total.

Our show is *Insert name of school* Hero. Rock songs > King Kong of last year. The songs we're playing are, in consecutive order, Shout it Out Loud, Free Bird, and Come Sail Away.

We are going to a festival in Gatlainburg, TN this year for our trip. I can't wait because it'll be my first!

Yay! Marching band camp week is over (for me at least!)...no more 8 hour days, and waking up at 7 =)

Ours was 7:30 - 5:30 everyday.
10 hours everyday beating serious heat!

and the fact that you have to memorize 4 pieces (at least in my band), moving to the precise spot from memory, and keeping up with the other bandmembers. marching band works your brain, and your body.

I agree and we also work like that too - moving spot to spot from memory. It takes a lot of effort, soul, and dedication to succeed in marching band.

Band camp ended yesterday. Wasnt as boring as I thought it would be.
It consumed a lot of time though. Most of our days were 9:00 AM till 9:00 PM with the exception of yesterday.
