I have been debating starting a PTR for our upcoming March trip, and I finally decided I will give it a go.



We were going March24-March 30th now it is May 4th through May 12th.

I guess it would help to have cast introductions for this trip.

Me, Dana, the Disney planner.

DH, Dale, loves Disney, but he tries to play it off.

DS, Tyler, has grown up on Disney.

DS, Dallas, has never really been anywhere else for vacation.

DD Amanda got married November 19th, 2011 so she won't be on this trip with us.

If anybody knows where I can get my hands on Mickey head decorations let me know please. I found some iron ons on Ebay, but the seller hasn't answered my question yet and I don't want to buy them until I get an answer. I have had a BIG problem with a couple of sellers on Ebay over the last month........ I am redoing my front bathroom and I have the shower curtain, rugs, and towel set but I can't find a valance that matches. I have a white valance that I am using, but If I could find some appliqués I could iron, or sew, them on. I painted(a HUGE undertaking) and changed out the sink hardware(not a plumber, but easier than the painting), now on to the fun part; decorating. I don't have any before pix, but I will post the finished product pix when it is done. Which takes me to the next part. I have got to get up and go finish it because I have to work tomorrow............

Wal-Mart has some good fabric, I got some to make a cushion for my wheelchair there, it's red, and bright, but hey, It's Mickey!!! LOL Leanne makes AWESOME things for the girls, so a valance shouldn't be any problem for her!! I wish I was that crafty!!! LOL I understand about the cash for the AP's, if it weren't for this payment plan, I wouldn't have them either. Check the link in my siggie, I'm on a mission from the big cheese himself!! HAHA

I was at Walmart last night and they didn't have anything, well that particular Walmart didn't. I have the valance, I just need some black Mickey heads or Mickey's to put along the hem. You are right, Leanne does do some awesome stuff!!! I love her cakes.

YAY Leanne is here . I love the sound of that . I have to agree with Christie, you ARE talented! Someone at work was selling an embroidery machine pretty cheap, a few months back, I would make a HUGE mess of anything I tried to do . I took Home economics for two years, and let me just say the outfit I made was the ugliest thing I have ever seen............ I want to see what you have made because I know it is all too precious .

I missed this post, sorry Christie . I am glad Tyler is going with us. I am really blue since Amanda moved into her own apartment, so it makes it a little better that he is going.

When are you going to hear something back? I think we should all put our great minds (Leanne) together and come up with a new technique for rapid test results. I can totally understand you being anxious too . Let me know as soon as you hear something.

How am I dealing with my baby girl getting married? Read the first paragraph... I am happy for her, but I am trying to adjust to her not being in the house. She is the only one who would help me without me having to take her hand and basically do it myself. I really think it is a big ruse with the guys in my house to avoid actually having to do anything .

OMG Dana, when we saw her girls last spring, they were in Tigger dresses that Leanne made, and they were way too cute!!

Someone got an embroidery machine???? Should I put in my order now?? HAHA Anything Tigger, of course!!!! LOL Just kiddin girl!!

I can hear something back at any time. They said 3-5 days, and my appt last friday was early in the morning, so they should have gotten the samples to the lab that day. I do have an appt with my dr for the narcotics refill friday, maybe they're waiting until then to tell me. I hope not!!!

Thank goodness I gave myself a year to get all that done LOL We've been EVERY weekend this year, literally, so it shouldn't be too hard!! I may have it all done in a couple months!! LOL I hope they give DVC the payment plan also, it's sooooo easy, and it really helps to spread out the cost!!

Oh I am sooooo jealous! I have been wanting an embroidery machine forever and even started looking online for one yesterday. Now that we have the wedding over with, I can start sewing again and am about to try my hand at applique.

Hey Christie, I think I have an old cross stitch book that's nothing but Disney characters. Let me see if I can find it. I know it's in the attic 'cause I saw it when we were storing some of Lacey's stuff. If I find it, I don't mind copying it for you and sending the patterns to you.

My mother in law got me started on cross stitching, and I've done a few Disney pieces, the latest one took me a year to do, the pic is in my FB pics somewhere....probably in the wall photos LOL So my MIL Also left me with GOBS of floss, I mean boxes FULL of floss!! So, just dig thru them boxes to find the right colors, get some aida, and I'm good to go!!

I did find three other big hardbound cross stitch pattern books. They are from the Holidays in Cross Stitch collection. Do you cross stitch just Disney projects or any project?

In one of the books, there's a pattern called "I'm Late! I'm Late!" and it was designed to celebrate the story of Alice in Wonderland. But the rabbit is not white, he's shades of brown.

I remember stitching quite a few of the patterns from the books back in the day when I actually had time to stop for a minute or two. I don't mind copying some of the better patterns for you if you'd like and then mail them to you. I will also keep looking for the Disney pattern book. I'm now on a mission to find it.

I know how hard it is to find things when stuff gets moved around. We had a door stop, nothing major, but it was for Amanda's, now Dallas', door. We had it the day I was painting his room and the very next day it was gone . Don't know where, or how it could have disappeared, but it did.
