March 6th, 2010 7 Night Western

Hi Leetahtx,

I think the rooms are pretty much the same from what I've been able to read .I think the difference is that the rooms are one deck up , ie deck 7 and there are a lot fewer rooms which I guess cuts down on the foot traffic .

I guess we'll find out in a few weeks !!!

I am not sure how all the different catagories go, I do know since this is our first, I didn't want a balcony. Too afraid ds would try to climb it. Trust me....he would. Wondering if it was a huge mistake to get an inside stateroom. Thoughts?

Any cabin is not a mistake when you are on the ship. You are not likely spend much time in it anyway.

Our cabin # is 6000....front corner...lovely because it is handicap accessible .....nice to see so many celebrations on board...my daughter will be celebrating her bday a week early ....had to book around her college spring break this year....

What deck are you on? We've been on Deck 5 before (loved it) and Deck 7- loved that one even more!! On Deck 7 I very rarely ever used elevators. Walked up to deck 9, down to Decks 3 and 4. Kept me in shape!

Welcome!! :cheer2: What other lines have you cruised?

There are several other cabins who are cruising without children on this cruise. We are looking forward to this one, also celebrating DH's birthday on the cruise on 3/11.

Christine

NCL (twice) and the Big Red Boat....anybody remember that one?> LOL

My daughter is at Furman and my son is at Notre Dame law school. They are both on Spring break at the same time so both will be on the cruise. My daughter will also have two of her friends.

So, what is everyone looking forward to doing on the cruise? Here's what I'm looking forward to

-Seeing old friends(hopefully)
-Meeting you guys on the disboards that go to the dismeet on the first day
-meeting college aged people at the college club the first night
-going to Rockin' Bar D every night
-all the food on the ship
-just walking around the ship
-going to Key West
-spending my birthday at sea

When you click on this link do you get anything? I would like to see my itinerary but I can't remember if they wait to post this until flight info is available???? Anyone know?

It seems like last year I could look on the site and see what days/times our ports were, but I get nothing when I click this link. All my other links are working fine (for early check in, excursions etc.)

Anyone know?

Under "My Cruise Plans" it shows the itinerary days. Under Cruises and Destinations/7-Day Western it shows port times.

My ds was asking if the pin exchange would happen on the ship like at the resort. Does anyone know of the crew participates in this on the cruise?

Hey everybody. I signed on a while ago but have not been posting recently because we cancelled this cruise a month ago hoping for Florida resident rates. Unfortunately those never came out, but we managed to rebook a few hours ago. It was absolutely crazy. This cruise has been showing as sold out for 5 days, but around 11:00 4 cat 6's opened up and we managed to grab one before they disappeared. We have now switched to 6052. It is myself, Mike(20) and my parents. Only 40 days to go!!!
