The codes that everyone is waiting for will most likely go up to July 4. July 5th begins value season for deluxe resorts. We are leaving July 6 so most likely I'll have to wait for the next round of AP discounts. Last year they were released May 5th. Who knows , maybe they will release the whole summer at once. That would sure reduce my anxiety level!!Samsma said:Will the next code release include July? Or will I have to wait even longer?

wildernesslodgelover said:Thanks for the heads up! I am anxiously awaiting codes, too...for FL residents! My dates are May 6-8th...going just the DH and I to celebrate our anniversary! But if no codes=no go! I am not paying $185 a night (water view, includes all taxes) to stay at POFQ!!!

mickeyluv said:Did I read somewhere that they don't always come out first thing in the morning? Have there been times when the AP rate would come out in the middle of the morning or may midday? Just thought I would ask that. Does anyone know?
But the date was correct. Evidently the CM knew what he was talking about.Momto8 said:Yes, that's correct. Sometimes they come out later in the morning. I think it was 2000 when AP rates came out on March 25th. We all had advance notice (about a month or 2 prior) that they were coming out on this day. Everyone got up before 7:00 am and started calling as soon as CRO opened. No APs. They did, however, come out a couple of hours later. How the CM at CRO knew this date that far in advance is beyond me.But the date was correct. Evidently the CM knew what he was talking about.
I know there were other dates as well where they didn't come out till later, but that one always sticks in my head. I sure hope Tuesday is the day!!

Not offereing FL resident codes...it will disappoint a large group of people. Not offering AP rates will do the same. Even not offering general public codes will have the same effect because many people know that special pin codes are floating out there. I think it will leave many people saying "why?" It may have the same back lash that the special Disney Visa 7 for 5 deal had last spring on the cardmembers from day one. Yes, Disney is a business and yes, they can market anyway they want....
CarolA said:Disney will offer discounts if they feel they need them to fill rooms. I am not sure why "Disney needs to be careful" If the rooms are full at rack rate it makes no sense to give discounts. (And what Back lash was they 7 for 5?)
