Sorry Ptmom, but it looks like you didn't use the most recent update because our updated information isn't included.

Also I think the FE's should be split so everyone has 10 to 12 cabins. Right now I count 18 cabins, and that splits nicely to 9 (which is much easier to deliver to than 18). It still gives the fun of checking each day for a surprise!

I'm right here....... just got off the Carnival Destiny this morning. Good cruise and the Packers won!!!

I am also bummed about canceling Mazatlan. We've never been down that coast and I hear the water is colder in Cabo. We like to swim if possible. I bet the Mazatlan tour operators aren't happy either- lots of lost revenue.

Didn't find a lot of good offerings for Cabo tours so hoping I can research and find something good. Looks like tour one day and beach/shopping the other.

Any tips on booking Palo? They seemed to be pretty packed.

Nice to meet you. If you cannot get any good reservations online before the cruise once you get onboard you can go to Rockin D Bar and sign up, they usually have slots still available.

Don't worry you will have a fantastic cruise but beware you will be hooked on cruising.

I'm not sad about not going to Mazatlan. It sucks to be them, but Kevin and I didn't have anything booked for that day and were even contemplating just staying on the ship.

Regarding splitting up the FEs...I don't mind doing something for everyone...in fact, I've already got a bunch of presents ready to go! I'm not super crafty or anything but I made little things I think everyone will like. I also made our FE - it turned out pretty well except for one part. I'll post pics if anyone's interested.

Here are our excursions and stuff to add to the list:
Day 3 - Palo, 6pm
Day 4 - Outdoor Adventure
Day 6 - Sea of Cortez Snorkeling Experience

I'm getting so anxious to book a second adventure at Cabo and get an official announcement from Disney. I can't imagine how much work it is for the Disney team to pull off such a huge change in just 6 weeks before the cruise departs.

We've sorted all the Fish Extender people into age and gender groups and have our gifts mostly planned. Leave it to me to turn FE planning into a math lesson for the youngest DD! I'm hoping we keep the group as one, rather than splitting. Delivering gifts is half the fun for my girls!

Everyone stay warm...I don't think winter in Wisconsin will ever end....

Hi There!

Regarding Palo reservations, they were totally booked prior to our last cruise. When we got on board we asked to be put on a waiting list for any openings due to cancelations, and they had availability right there! I don't know if they hold back some tables for people who want to book when they get on board, or what.

Regarding the FE, I have found something for all families also so I wouldn't vote to split the group. However, if everyone else wants to then I'm OK with what everyone else wants to do.

I don't want to split up the FE, either. I haven't figured out what we're doing, but my kids are excited to walk around and see everyone's FE. It looks like it will be a horse extender on the Dream? LOL!

Yes, we sailed Dec 2009 on the Magic and the Palo reservations were all full. We were able to book once on board with no problem, either. They MUST hold back some spots OR people overbook and cancel right before the cut off to not get charged. Who knows?!?! It is sort of like the last time we were at Disney we wanted to try Mickey's BBQ. We couldn't get in and after we checked in the Poly concierge got us right in, NO PROBLEM! Saving some room gives them some room to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on guests visit.

Just adding my two cents. I vote to keep the FE as they are I have all the supplies for the cabins just have to find time to put it all together.
We don't know what we are going to do with our extra cabo day yet.

Sounds like the majority want to keep the FE list as is. I agree as well. Given that we all agreed the cutoff should be this coming Monday, Jan. 31st, I don't think we'll get many more additions to the list anyway.

So if any of you on this roll call board hasn't signed up and wants to, make sure you post by Monday indicating your wishes.

For Cabo, we'll possibly do a resort day pass and shopping/water tour another day. I'm frantically researching to figure it all out. I hear the glass-blowing factory is kind of neat too.

Looks like the ship is almost full too. We leave in just under 5 weeks and I feel like nothing is done yet. Not like we won't have enough time before our trip but our February weekends are starting to fill up.

Sorry to hear you won't be participating CarolC. I know the feeling when job projects are looming. Thank you for helping to coordinate so far.


I'm going to try to put together some lists today of how many adults, kids, etc. and how many will need to deliver each day. Looking to be about 3 families per day. Please post if there is a particular day you are interested in delivering.

ChrissyHomeSchools: I see that you have 2 staterooms- must be 1 for the adults and 1 for the kids. Will you be having 2 fish extenders or just 1 for the whole family?

Nice to see everyone has their room assignments.

We are book on the March 6-13 Wonder Cruise to Mexico.

I noticed that others have said they were not notified of the change with Mazatlan. Neither were we! Can’t say we were too upset about the change either as we are going for the ship and Disney fun rather than the ports. Chose this cruise because it was one we could afford. I’m upset that Disney did not do a better job telling us about the change but happy to know they are watching out for our safety.

Is it too late to join the Fish Extenders for this cruise? Exactly how does it work? This is our second Disney Cruise and the first time we have heard about the Fish Extenders.

What information do I need to post to join the fun! We do have another couple traveling with us and may or may not have our teen age daughter and maybe a friend for her. We will be in cabin 2104.
