March 30th, 2013 Easter Western Fantasy

Does anyone know or heard of what easter activities maybe on the ship easter Sunday? It looks like this questions doesn't have many answers.... ;-) thanks

They try to arrange for Clergy to be available for services. There are apparently decorations and an egg hunt. Beyond that, not much that I can find.

Last years posts of people on ships for last easter say big choc decorated eggs outside restaurants, different religious services on board (sunrise service, Catholic mass and a non-denominational svc) and appearances by the white rabbit roaming the ship. Another post says on the Magic last year the CM's (cast members) wore bunny ears all day. Other than that people did their own hunts in their rooms and FE stuff it says or were off on excursions.

We sailed the magic last Easter. There were sunrise services officiated by both a catholic clergy and non-denominational pastor, and a service in the Obie theatre. That was nondenominational, but I'd compare it to a Presbyterian or charismatic church. Great pastor, a lady with a synthesizer, a program, hymns, sermon. Wonderful sermon!
I'd agree with the previous posts and add that there were some Easter themed activities in kids clubs. No ship-wide egg hunt or anything like that

"Movie" theatre...not Obie...

Hi,

i know this is very last minute (the deadline is today) but we would like to join the fish extender list.

Richard

Guys, it's time:

FE IS NOW CLOSED.

I think we all recognize that there are sometimes extenuating circumstances, like booking the cruise at the last minute and wanting to participate. In such cases, the matter will be put to the group for a decision.

if the group still wants to consider we would like to do the FE. i understand today is the closing date but i just thought i ask. there are three of us DD age 9, we did the FE last spring break on the magic and it was fun. if we cant make the FE i understand that we were late getting in, would it be possible to be a part of the meet and great on the ship?

I think since you only missed it by a few hours, it's safe to say Welcome to the FE group snubadad. I need your stateroom number, DIS name, breakdown of stateroom occupants (including whatever you are comfortable with such as ages, names, family name), any celebrations, any important info (such as favorite characters, likes/dislikes, allergies to avoid serious whoopsies) and an email address to send the list to. Just PM it to me.

Okay, time for another democratic decision FE participants. We currently stand at 39 staterooms with a total of 141 people. At our current 3 group split, that will be 13 cabins and 47 people per group. This does not include any possible latecomers. So, shall we split it into 4 groups? Let me hear your opinions!

I vote split to 4 since this is a long cruise and I'm sure there will be more hopefully joining :-)

I don't think 13 cabins is too much, but whatever the majority thinks.

I have completed the FE and sent it out. I split it 10/10/10/9 in order to have some wiggle room should additional people want to join.

Hi all! I am excited to be taking my 3 girls (13 year old and twins that are 10) on the Disney Cruise over the holiday break (my husband opted to stay home)! We have sailed on Princess Cruises once so I am eager for the more kid friendly and family experience of Disney, especially since my twins is birthday is 3/30. I stumbled onto the chat board and was happy for the opportunity to make some friends before our trip (especially since we are traveling alone). Please let me know if you have children around these ages so perhaps they can meet up onboard, or email if you are comfortable with that. I also appreciate any advice from experienced Disney Cruisers to make the trip more fun for the kids! Thanks!

Hi!
I am totally new to this so forgive me for missing the deadline. If there is still room, we would like to join the FE. I haven't done this before so I don't know entirely know the ins and outs, but it sounds like fun! I will be traveling with my 3 daughters (13,10,10) - my husband will be at home. We will be celebrating the twins turning 11 on 3/30.

We will be in room 10010. Please let me know what other information you may need. Even if the FE doesn't work out, I would just like to meet some other families since we are traveling alone. The chat would not let me send you a message directly so sorry for the public post.
