Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been traveling for the past few weeks with very limited Internet access. Just wanted to pop in and welcome the new members. :) I'm THRILLED to see so much activity on this thread. I promise to get caught up with the posts and update the roster ASAP!

I did see the link for the Facebook group and sent a request to join.

I just accepted your join request. Welcome!

On our cruise in June, a lot of people made magnets for their fe gifts. Do we really need two different exchanges?

Right now we're in the "determining interest" stage. If there's little interest for either exchange, that exchange likely won't happen. But if we do end up doing an FE and a magnet exchange, people can choose to participate in both, one or neither.

Hi, everyone! We just shifted a different reservation to this cruise, so we'll be joining you. In addition to me, it will be DW, DS16 and DS12. We have cruised with Disney four times before, including Cozumel as part of the 7 night Western. We did the dolphin swim at Chankanaab, which we booked on our own rather than through Disney. Looking forward to it!

Welcome aboard!

If you'd like to be added to our roster, please see the info in the OP. Thanks!

So Southwest came out with dates for our trip and the prices are still high. One flight isn't bad at all, but the other is. I was hoping they'd be low and drive down United's prices.

DH is going to freak if we have to pay $450pp to fly.

I have been eyeing flights myself. We're not far from you - will fly out of DTW (Detroit) and right now the flights are hovering around $316. And *I* was hoping to get cheaper than that! Haha -- maybe I should take it to avoid the world of $450!

Ours are 360 today for Indianapolis. I was hoping to get cheaper, but might be wishful thinking:confused3.

Booked flights today. We are going to fly to Orlando and drive down to Miami. All of the direct flights to Ft. Lauderdale were 400+, non-direct would take us 7 hours total ( no thank you). So flights were 303 to Orlando. I hope this is a good price. Anyone else book yet?

Still on the fence about flying or driving. The cheapest flight I've found was $383 and since there are 5 of us, we'll probably drive. For our cruise last June, I got tickets for $280. So, it looks as though a 15 hour drive is in our future.

We're on the fence, too, but leaning toward driving. Right now flights are around $450. Yikes! It's a 10-hour drive for us. We usually drive to WDW, so what's 2 more hours?

We have to fly. We may end up flying to MCO, but that's really the only way to save money for us. DH would be more willing to do that than fly out of DET or PIT.

In February my sister and I went to WDW for the Princess Half Marathon and being in N. GA we were going to drive (8/9 hrs). In January we came across $69 one-way from ATL to MCO. So, we're going to hold off booking for a while to see if there's a good rate to FLL or at least MCO.

Flights on AA dropped over $100 from what I was seeing before. They have direct to Miami for $360 pp, which is way better than the $450 I was seeing...

Should I jump or will they go lower? It's usually only max $300 to MCO from CLE...

Where are you traveling from and what are your dates?

Cleveland March 29-April 4. We are pretty tight on the dates. We could stay a day later but it would have to be much cheaper.

DH is dead set against CAK (Akron), because he "heard" about theft problems that I can't seem to find anything about *sigh* and he is also dead set against MIA for some reason. He's making this a lot more difficult.

Pretty much my only choice for direct flights from CLE to FLL is United, which is who we normally fly with, but right now their prices are $450 pp.

Hi all. Crazy high flight prices are the main reason we have decided to postpone our cruise for a tbd date. The best SW flight for us out of Denver to FLL was sold out the same day the schedule was released, leaving us with a combo of inconvenient times and high prices. We didn't have much flexibility on arrival and departure dates, so we were stuck.

Hope you all have a great cruise!

AirTran has $235 from Cleveland to FLL. The times are crappy. It's s little lower from Cleveland to MCO. We're going to wait because I really feel like they will run a special.

Yeah, but that's just the flight down and it has a stop. The flight back isn't bad at $126, but still has a stop.

United is $445 RT for direct with great times. So I'll be stalking them. United lets you look at seats before you buy and there are barely any sold on the plane at all, so I'm crossing my fingers!:thumbsup2
