March 27, 2010 - Spring Break with Mickey on the Magic!

Would it be ok to add one more FE family to the list and then say that we are absolutely done and closed? :flower3:

I've got my FE stuff done already and I'm sure some of the rest of you do too, but I don't mind doing one more and I'd really like to include these folks. They aren't newcomers to the thread but we made up the rules, so we can break them, right? Let me know what you think.

No, Absolutly NOT!!!

Just kidding:lmao::lmao::lmao:

It's fine with me!! Rules were meant to be broken, right?? Just don't bring that up on the should kids be in the adult area thread!!:rotfl::rotfl:

2 weeks from tomorrow and I really need a boat drink!!

That is fine w/ us! (pkmingos & finsfan)

I just love what a fun and friendly group we have. :grouphug:

I know I haven't heard from everyone, but I'm going to go ahead and add our2disneygirls to the FE list on post 1. There are now 15 families/groups participating and that's going to be it. My apologies in advance to anyone who finds us in the next 2 weeks but we are getting so close now that we won't have time to do any more.

I will post the delivery schedule tomorrow and I'll PM everyone a list with names, room #s, etc. 15 days and counting!:cool1::cool1:

Hello Fellow Cruisers,
This is our very first cruise. My friend Kim told me about you guys and the Fish Extender group and we would love to join in on the fun when we board the Magic 3/27 out of Port Canaveral. We are very excited. We are in stateroom 6539. There are 4 of us. Chad, Adrienne and our daughter Melaina and son Jake. We don't have instructions for how to make the extenders either. Any help would be great. We do understand that we bring trinkets of sorts for the amount of members(including kids of course) on the cruise. That's all we know. Can't wait to meet you all!

We didn't know there was a deadline. It's Saturday 3/13. We had the hardest time finding this thread until today. Anyway we can still join in with the 4 of us?

Sure, since you just found us, I think we can squeeze in one more family. Glad you'll be able to join us! Could you please give me the ages of your children so I can add you all to the list?

Check out post #90 on page 6 of this thread for some general info about the FE exchange. There's a thread on the main cruise forum that gives advice about making your own FE (can't find it right now but try a search). I am not remotely crafty so I bought mine off ebay; there's a DISer there that makes personalized ones. Her ebay name is gradysmommy and she does great work.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Dany

I came up with a delivery schedule, but I can certainly adjust it if anyone has any issues or concerns with their day. This is flexible - delivery can be any time of the day you wish and if for some reason once on board you can't make your day, no worries - no one is going to keep track! :)

It looks good to me!! I was wondering if you could put everyone's cabin number next to their name, this way I can print out the schedule to take with me and I will have the cabin numbers right there. Only if it is not too much trouble to do.

It's no problem adding the room numbers, but this might be more useful to you. I reviewed the deck plans and came up with a suggested delivery order that will minimize the running back and forth looking for rooms. From the top down or bottom up, either way. Just a suggestion, there's obviously no right or wrong way to do this. :goodvibes

Thank you!! That was what I had intended to figure out, but now I don't have to!!:woohoo: You made it soo easy....like Fe exchange for dummies!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I can not believe it is now less then 2 weeks away!!! We are doing the late seating. Anyone else with us??? I was wondering what order they are going to do the shows now that the Villans show is starting. We have Palo on Monday, Tuesday is the Pirate Party, just wondering if Formal night is still Sunday....any ideas??:confused3:confused3

Thanks Dany for the list - this looks great! Also, if anyone changes cabin numbers at the port, please be sure to let everyone on the list know - either by note or phone call on the ship.

We have late dining too. We usually don't eat that late but I figure with the time difference we should be able to handle it.

I'm hoping that the Villains show is just replacing the Golden Mickeys on Sunday night and that Sunday stays formal night. I haven't heard that they were making any schedule changes. They wouldn't dare mess up all our meticulous pre-planning, would they?:rotfl:

I thought I read on another thread that Twiced Charmed now shows on Formal Night but that Formal Night did stay on Sunday. And the new menu for that night was the Prince and Princess menu.

We always do late dining so we will be there also!

first off, i don't have any official information,
but I would expect that formal night would still be on sunday and the new show will be the new formal night show which replaced golden mickeys.

and specifically for our cruise, as being the first cruise with the new show, they might be making a big deal about it (opening night for a new show) and it might be something one would dress up for.

in any case, i would still expect them to do formal nights on sea days (which leaves out saturday, tuesday, wednesday, or friday).

it might be nice for us obsessive planners if disney would provide more information on their schedule.

Thank you for including us! Do you know how we can find the instructions to make these fish extenders for our stateroom?

Schedule, looks good to us.

We also have late seating.

DCL told me in an email that formal night is Sunday, so we made our Palo resys that night.

CastawayCruisers - if you do a search of the main cruise thread there are a million posts on how to make a FE, thats where I got the instructions to make mine. You can also see what others did.

Welcome, CruisinCastaways!!

I'm new to this FE thing, too, but a search of the main Cruise board yielded lots of inspiration!

LV Disney Fan--Thank you SO much for organizing our FE for us!!

I was wondering if anyone would mind switching days with me. I'm currently on Thursday, which would be fine, but my FE gift might be useful to some during the cruise, so ideally it would be earlier. But, if no one wants to switch, it's fine, as it can be used after the cruise as well. ;)

Thanks!
Patti I.

Schedule looks good to us too.

We also have late dinner seating.

I have class and work everyday till the cruise so hopefully time will go by quick. I also applied for a Management internship at WDW at hope to hear back before we leave for the cruise.
