Anyone know how far the pagers go if we choose to venture off the ship and leave Ally in the kids club? I think I read that you can do this if you will be within range...... We have no plans in St Maarten so we thought we might venture out by ourselves for a couple hours and then come back and grab Ally for lunch.....

I talked to one of our friends that just came back from the New Years cruise. He said the new portable room phones are great, but you couldn't take them into town.

March 26 is our fifth Disney Cruise. My son is also 10 and is on spring break plus it is my birthday so we have decided to se sail again. We travel not far from Port Canaveral since we live in Florida. I am wondering how the weather is in St Martin this time of year. To be honest we were looking at the new Dream but I think St Martin port of call is what we are going to enjoy after already seeing the Bahamas.

Hi Everyone!

My family will be on this cruise! I wanted to read all the posts before I chimed in, so I made a point of doing that this morning. The temp is currently -2 here in Iowa, so I'm ready to think warm thoughts !

This will be our second cruise and we participated in the FE last time (Jan 2009), so I asked my family last night if we should do it again. I got a definite "YES" as an answer! I think they thought I was a little nuts last time, since they had NO idea what I was talking about. However, once the cruise started, they soon caught on to the fun !

To everyone in the FE exchange...please, please, don't let my family size scare you! We are in 2 cabins, but will only have 1 hanger, and my kids don't expect anything special. The kids enjoyed having the hanger outside their door and helping me deliver our goodies one night. Actually, I made our hanger and it only has one pocket. I was exhausted after making the first pocket and knew it would be the one and only!

I just took my fish extender out of storage from last time, and plan on jazzing it up a bit! I spent so much time making the darn pocket and putting seven names on it, that I forgot to make it look fun .

Have you done the Eastern? Just curious about St Maarten and how long it would take us to get to Orient Beach, etc. I think we are going to rent a car and want to go off just Jeff and I in the morning, then pick up Ally at lunch and take her to see the island in the afternoon.....
