I updated the roll call in post #2 with your info.

Thanks for the lovely welcome, looking forward to getting to know you all. We have never done FE before so not really sure, I will talk it over with dh and get back to you all x

Well ok he didn't take much persuading lol, we would love to join the FE, what fun, we are in 7622

Marlana323,

Welcome to the cruise. A FE (Fish Extender) is basically like a gift exchange. If you want to participate you hang a FE on the metalic fish outside of your cabin door. Everyone else does it as well. throughout the cruise you will recieve treats in you FE. These treats range from candy to disney items to homemade items. Some of my favorite items where the things people gave that were specific to their hometown. However there is no rule to what you can give, everything is welcome. On our last cruise we even received little bottles of liqour for the Adults. I find my kids really like to see what shows up. I have put a link to a thread called the Fish Extender Primer. This should help.

George. Thanks for the info. That sounds like so much fun! Please add us to the FE. Room 6510. Do you exchange every day or is one specific night picked - that is the only thing I couldn't find when reading. Do you need any other info from me? Thanks to you all for heading this up! Marlana :)

People do either. You can choose to give a gift every day on the cruise or just once. It's really personal preference as to how much you want to do (and carry:laughing: in your luggage). On our last cruise, we got single gifts from some in our FE group and we also got some where they gave a gift each day of the cruise.

Well, I just booked our next cruise, thinking it would be THIS one, but due to DD's spring break being the following week, we are now booked on the March 30th cruise.... so y'all clean up after yourselves and wave to me as I'm boarding when you are debarking! Have a great cruise!

Hey everyone, We went over to Cocoa Beach for the weekend and went to Jetty Park and watched the Magic sail out. She looked great. I was pretty jealous of all the people on it waving at us poor souls in the park. The Captain pulled the horn right when he passed us.

We also drove by the dream today, first time seeing it in person. She looks nice, but I still feel closer to the classics.

Wow! That's a big group, it will be fun. :grouphug::jumping1:
Just let me know staterooms/names/ages/etc and I can add you all to the roll call list in post #2. Let me know if y'all will be participating in the FE as well and I can mark that down.

WELCOME!:grouphug:

Here is the list of our 8 cabins so far:

Barb & Len (me & DH celebrating 25th Anniversary  )
Caity & Ben (16)
Brittany & Kyle
Mildred & John
Jona, Brianna (6) & Nick (3)
Patty & Richard
Jackie & Dan
Erin (14) & Dawson (13)

We will all like to join the FE exchange. Won't list our stateroom numbers yet as they will probably change if the rest of the family joins! :confused3

I've got your group listed on the roll call (post 2). Just send me your stateroom numbers and list of who is adult/child as your plans solidify, and I will update the roster. It sounds like you are going to celebrate a fantastic wedding anniversary with your clan! :lovestruc How exciting!

Cold and rainy here today so I'm dreaming about the cruise. Wish the time would go quicker!

Well, my DW and I are on this cruise. I didn't find this thread until today as we have been booked for a while. We are cruising for my 40th!
