What a boring way to start a 3-day weekend. I finally get more than 1 day off in-a-row and I'm alone, doing laundry, sweating in my hot house. I have over 200 DVD movies and I can't decide if I want to see ANY of them.
I guess this is one way to stay safe. Hope everyone else is enjoing their holiday weekend

Busy month ahead here (as Mark and Mary know as well) Our oldest leaves for a 12 day trip to DC and NYC with the Global young Leaders Conference, our youngest has a stay over soccer camp at Holy Cross College then we leave on the 17th to meet up with Gail and Gary in Seattle. Then a train trip up to Vancouver to board for our Alaskan Cruise!!

Ray hope your day improved. My day was going great up until the time I got sick -right after DD and I got back from the beach. I think I had some bad seafood for lunch. I'm feeling better but definitely still in recovery mode this morning. And of course last night was supposed to be my night out with friends.

Today got better, woke up at 6am and decided (on a whim) to go to Universal Studios Hollywood. From the internet, So. Cal. residents can get a 6 month pass for $69 online. Paid for it, printed out the tickets and left. the trip is about 2-1/2 hours long and once we got up there, we found we forgot the tickets. Luckily I had the confirmation #number on my Blackberry. After about 7 hrs we had enough of the heat and the crowds and headed home. But it was still a great day.

Supposed to be another gorgeous day here, with a slight chance of a thunderstorm throughout the day. But not likely until later tonight.

Ray - your 4th sounds like fun. Going to Universal and all. Glad the ticket forgetting worked out with the confirmation # at the park.

Lisa - so sorry to hear you got some bad food. No fun for you I'm sure. Loved seeing the pictures of Lauren trying to hula hoop. Ah, to be young again.

Dave - sounds like a nice relaxing weekend for you and yours out camping.

Mary and Mark - hope you are having a wonderful time. I am thoroughly enjoying all your photos. Please keep them coming!
