Happy 4th of July everyone. Hpe everyone has a happy and safe one.

Thanks Flo! I was better by the 4th. Tried to get a few activities in on the 3rd but ended up back at the house in bed watching Tangled with Lauren. Then we watched the Food Network for hours. They had the Cake Wars show with the Star Tours cake competition. We missed the last 10 minutes so we never saw who won. We had to walk down to the bay for the fireworks at that time.

Supposed to be another gorgeous day here, with a slight chance of a thunderstorm throughout the day. But not likely until later tonight.

Ray - your 4th sounds like fun. Going to Universal and all. Glad the ticket forgetting worked out with the confirmation # at the park.

Lisa - so sorry to hear you got some bad food. No fun for you I'm sure. Loved seeing the pictures of Lauren trying to hula hoop. Ah, to be young again.

Dave - sounds like a nice relaxing weekend for you and yours out camping.

Mary and Mark - hope you are having a wonderful time. I am thoroughly enjoying all your photos. Please keep them coming!

Thanks Chris! Hope Bobby is feeling better. Not sure what dry socket is but it does not sound pleasant.

Lauren was Hula Hooping everywhere she went. I had to threaten to take it away a few times. She almost took out a few folks as she hula hooped down the little side walks in cape may. Imagine what those sidewalks are like....lots of stone, slate, etc and uneven. Not a smooth concrete sidewalk all the way down the street. Depends on street, house, etc. And imagine all the people heading to the fireworks.

She is having a great time!

We watched that show too! The C3PO cake won. The guy who knew nothing about Star Wars. How funny.

And the Darth Vader cake looked really funny. It was so out of proportion.

I really liked the Chewie cake. But the cake that won did have a lot of good work done on it. Hope I didn't ruin it for you by telling you who won.
