So Dave, what is your daughter going as for Halloween this year? Last year wasn't she Abby from NCIS? What a great costume that was! My oldest daughter loved it. And your oldest daughter is not going to go?


Our kids did not go trick or treating last night. They are getting to old But that is OK, because we went to MNSSHP while we were in Florida after the Members Cruise. We still have the candy that we got from there. The girls did dress up for that. Brooke was like an egyptian goddess and Becca went as Lara Croft - Tomb Raider. I couldn't believe how many people would say "Hey, you're Laura Croft" as we walked by. Me and Bobby just laughed not realizing she would be that recognizable. She had a ball with it.

Good Monday Morning Fellow Cruising Buddies!!!!


Lauren recovered enough on Saturday to get her pumpkin carved. Let me rephrase that.....Lauren recovered enough to supervise ME on how she wanted her pumpkin carved. She did not want anything fancy, just 2 triangle eyes and a vampire mouth with fangs. Funny how she couldn't even scoop the pumpkin. Oh, the smell...Yuck!! is what she would say. She was as I was scooping it all out. I asked her to grab me a big spoon out of the kitchen. She came out with a soup spoon. To her that was a big spoon. My arm was orange but the time I was done. Her design was very easy to do and she was very happy with it. She when we had it lit up at night.

Lauren dressed as Stitch yesterday and Kyle handed out the candy again this year. He seems to enjoy it and Lauren had more than enough stuff to share. After the first 3 houses she already had at least 10 different things. Of course we used the Disney Halloween bags from last year...the ones we gave out for the FE. I carried one and she carried one. When her bag started getting heavy we switched. Then she discovered when people see you do not have much stuff in your bag they feel bad and give you EXTRA!!!!

Not sure if you recall me mentioning last year how Lauren is shy. We go to the first house and I insisted she go up and knock by herself. The first three houses were like a major ordeal. She would say....But I don't know them! I was right at the end of the sidewalk and these were people just a couple houses down from us. After the 2nd house I told her if she was going to make such a big fuss about standing at the front door and saying 'trick or treat' and then 'thank you' that we would just need to go home. This was supposed to be fun. By the time she made it thru the 3rd house and saw how much candy she had she seemed to get over it quick.

Still so excited about seeing the DREAM . Like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. I am not sure I can make it until Christmas to tell the kids about the cruise. I am very good about surprises and I love, love, love them myself. I never ever sneak to try to find out what my gifts are or peek if someone wants to surprise me with something. It is such a downer when you ruin a surprise. When I was little, my sister talked me in to sneaking into the Christmas presents one year. I partially unwrapped one item which was my very own Phillies Phanatic. I had really wanted one but I was so sad and disappointed when I found out before Christmas morning. It really took away from the excitement that morning. To this day I have never peeked at any type of surprise or gift ever again.

How about all of you..... Do you like surprises? Or, do you sneak around and try to find the presents? Do you peek in bags or unwrap presents to see what they are???

Hope you all have a great week!!! We have another busy one but only 22 days until we will be at WDW. Actually, right about now our plane will be landing in Orlando. Then it is off to BCV and an 11:15 ADR for Cape May Cafe breakfast with the characters.

I am so glad you stopped at the 30!! This year will be our 30th Reunion! Ok, is that for real, Pocohontas never had a baby? How could I ever forget that??? I have seen the movie a hundred times, I guess old age is setting in
