In all this craziness, I'm glad we have our little blog to keep us sane!

Me too! I'm enjoying reading all the check-ins.

It's going to be a tough rest of the month for me as far as getting minutes. Our gym is closed (though I had decided not to go anyway) and I'll be working from home for the foreseeable future, so I'm going to have to make myself get up and moving during lunch break and after work.

I was anticipating getting lots of minutes at Disneyland this weekend, but we know how that turned out. But I know am lucky, because I can look forward to other trips later in the year. I feel sad for all those whose troubles go well beyond a missed weekend vacation.

Wore myself out today pushing a heavy muck cart. One tire went flat and I was pushing it on its rim, already heavy with manure, to the air compressor. Ugh. I crashed flat out on the wet ground waiting for my heart to recover. While the average rate for the workout period was 105, it peaked at 147 for a few moments during that effort! Flat tire + heavy load + soft ground = really hard work!

@sophy1996, sorry about both your gym closing and, of course, Disneyland.

We were relieved to read, yesterday (?), that our APs would be extended to match the shutdown. Quite nice of Disney! So now we wonder if we can stretch our existing APs, purchased for the opening of Batuu West, to the opening of Avengers Campus? Hmmm ...

The pool at AoA looks like fun! Can't hop there ... and, thus, I've never even visited the hotel or its grounds. Someday, maybe.

I am not going to track my minutes the rest of the month but will still check in. I am only supposed to be work for home for 3 weeks (the duration of the school closings) but our governor just said to he would not be surprised if schools are closed the rest of the year. So I am guessing I will be home much longer. THe rest of this month I will gauge what my activity level will be to put a time in for next month.

Dh and I have put in order a mandatory 60 minutes of activity for us and the kids. With 30 minutes outside if possible. Yesterday was the first day I have gotten 10,000 steps in awhile. We went for about a 45 minutes walk and then later int he day played soccer with the kids in the front yard.

Hope all is well with you and that you're all stocked up and enjoying the sunshine. I want to get outside today and starting cleaning up all of the lovely sticks/branches that are all over our yard. I'd like to add:
Wed.-60 min walk on treadmill
Friday-30 min walk with family and labs
Saturday-30 min. of dancing with the our local band Legacy while drinking some Cabernet Franc

I'm adding 20 minutes from yesterday and 25 from today. The minutes are treadmill time, but I also got out in the back yard both days - not active time, but at least sunshine and fresh air.

Happy Monday! Hope today finds you all in a good place in spite of this new world we find ourselves in! Here in central NJ, just about everything has changed. Restaurants changed to take-out only, churches canceled services yesterday, and all schools are closed. My gym closed last week (it's on a college campus), and I'm struggling to make myself do anything that would qualify as exercise. And, we've been forced to cancel our trip to see the grandchildren this month. But my husband and I have made a pact - we will leave the house for at least an hour every day - it's that or one of us won't make it ; ). So, Piglet, I feel your pain!
I'm already tired of cooking everyday - it's just the two of us and we are very used to deciding to eat out at the last minute. At least we're not in the counties of Pennsylvania where they even closed the liquor stores !!!!
Okay, enough whining!

Color Changes!!!!!!! Pollyanna Mom and Twilight Sparkle have hit 50% and Spa Sapphire!!! Congratulations! A minor correction - I flipped numbers in my head, so ljcrochet is just shy of 100% - my bad! But, I'm sure that will change soon!

Water fun wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon!

Are you game for speeding down the 120 feet of Summit Plummet at 60 mph???? Or, if you’re like me, is a tube ride around the lazy river more your speed? You can enjoy both at Blizzard Beach. Maybe, lazing on a lounge enjoying the faux alpine theme would make your day - the peaked roofs ( so the snow will run off them, of course), the chairlift to Mt. Gushmore, the used sled lot - all add to cooling you off on a hot Florida day!

Or, is life under the sea more appealing? Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon gives you the opportunity to snorkel and get an up-close look at real sea life! After seeing the sharks, you can try your hand (feet?) at surfing in the huge wave pool. But the fun isn’t all for the big kids. Ketch-a-Kiddie Creek is a water playground just for the little ones.

I restarted a hasfit.com program. So it is easy to get my minutes in this month.

After church (yes, we are small enough to avoid shutdown) the hubby and I took the flat muck cart tire shopping for a replacement. Our first stop was Tractor Supply Company which was quite busy. While they didn't have a good match they did shock us with information on how people are making runs on equine feed (buying pallets of pelleted feed), dog food and chicken feed. Wow!

After two more stops, we gave up trying to match the tire. We filled the truck's tank (such remarkably low fuel prices!) grabbed some Panda take-out and snuggled into the couch to watch Frozen II on Disney+. Whee!

Later, my darling was able to fix the tire by replacing the valve stem. Yes! Good man!

As for the WDW Water Parks, we enjoy the thrills. Most of our WDW visits are in the cool months so we don't generally visit pools. However, we did visit Blizzard Beach (and experience the really big drop!) several years back and loved our Typhoon Lagoon visit last year during a DVC Moonlight Magic event. We did it all and loved every minute. If returning during warm months, we will certainly consider visiting the Water Parks!

I "liked" your post for your minutes, but my sympathies on this part.
I'm feeling the disappointment of scrapping our family visit/Universal trip as well.

I'm adding an approximated 25 new minutes for today. (I started on the treadmill, got interrupted, and my numbers timed out. - But I'm pretty sure I was between 5 and 10 when it happened, and I did 20 after I started again.)

We got to gather too, thankfully! We are less than 50, but we'll see what they say next week, but then again, the state of Texas has not really announced any restrictions like my home state of Ohio has. Now is a good time to not be working, it seems. It makes staying home pretty easy!

Day 1 of everyone being home -- It went pretty good. Kids did there work in the morning, DH and I went for a 30 minute walk in the afternoon and the kids did some mega activity in the afternoon. DS played Just Dance on the XBox for what felt like hours. He is trying to get all 5 stars on all of the songs. DD played soccer outside for a about an hour or longer.

I ended up not doing anything in the afternoon. I decided to eat foods yesterday that I know bother my stomach. I didn't only eat it once but for all 3 meals and my stomach was letting me know that I need to stick to the diet of very little dairy even when home.

Everything other then carry-out (and grocery/pharmacies stores) is shut down in the area and masses have been canceled. Business have not been shut down yet but I am guessing it will be complete work from home for anyone that can here shortly. Voting for today had a very up and down crazy day yesterday. We were voting, we were not voting, we were voting and then ultimately it has been postponed to June. Our governor flied a law suit to postpone voting and a judge denied it so then the head of the health department (if you have time watch her press conferences she is awesome, her name is Dr. Acton) signed an order to close voting as it was a public health something or other. I am glad as I was really debating not voting. As of right now we still have our liquor stores but the governor is slowly shutting everything down. I am going to guess this will come too. No big deal for me as I don't drink.

We have been to Typhoon Lagoon, but not Blizzard Beach. We don't get to the water parks much. I wear glasses, and either I go around blind, which isn't that great, or I wear the glasses and avoid stuff like water slides, which also isn't that great (but fine for the lazy river!). I think the theming of both parks is wonderful!
