March 2015 for my birthday!!

Don't forget, FLower and Garden Festival starts at Epcot over your stay - that adds more fun, and more flavors to try. The Gin Blossoms are performing the first weekend.

drinking round the world and enjoying the flower and garden festival. It will be special in that I'll be going for the first time with a sizable group of friends.

Ok, I have my list of ADRs...

3/1 Arrival Day/Hollywood Studios:
None (plan on eating at Tune In Lounge in DHS and having late night drinks/snacks at either Victoria Falls or Cape May Lounge in AKL)

3/2 Animal Kingdom Day:
Breakfast: Tusker House
Dinner: Jiko

3/3 Magic Kingdom Day:
Dinner: California Grill

3/4 Epcot:
Dinner: Flying Fish Cafe (possibly going to Jellyrolls for drinks after dinner, otherwise back to Epcot)

3/5 Departure Day:
Breakfast: Boma

Being a foodie my goal is to pack in as many delicious meals as possible so I'm open to additional suggestions for breakfast/lunch, as long as they don't take me far from the parks I plan to be at each day. I plan to be the person taking pictures of all her food (so I can write up a dining report after, of course).

Actually my birthday is in April, but I priced deals for a bunch of different early spring travel dates and the best deal by far at the resort I wanted (AKL) was the first week of March. I'm turning 30 in 2015 and was thinking to myself, how can I make my 30th bday extra special? Of course WDW was the answer! I went for the first time last year with my friend but we only had 3 days in Orlando, this year I'll be by myself and am taking 5. Getting there via Amtrak from NY, which I also did last year. I've been to MK and Epcot but not AK, however I knew I wanted to stay in the lodge with a view of the animals...just booked last night, I'm so excited!

Please share your tips for making my first solo Disney trip a blast! I'm definitely hitting up MK, Epcot and AK, not sure I have enough interest in Hollywood Studios but I may change my mind. There are a lot of places I want to eat, too, narrowing down my choices is going to be tough. I would love restaurant recommendations, especially solo-friendly dining experiences. (On my trip last year our only table services experiences were at Epcot: Biergarten and Marrakesh.) Is anyone else going the first week of March who wants to meet up for a meal or some fun? Thank you everyone in advance for your advice!!
Make sure you see Flights of Wonder in AK. It's the best show I've seen at a Disney park (IMO).

Well guys this is it! I can't believe my trip is here, the train leaves from Penn Station at 3:15! Now just to finish packing and get myself off to Manhattan. I have some treats for the train ride to celebrate the start of my trip in style. My goal is to live it up as much as possible this week. Thinking about doing a live report...maybe when I make it to my train. See you tomorrow in Disney World!

I am just now seeing this and hope you had a magical trip! DH and I will be celebrating my 30th at Disney World this month! I'll actually be in the parks on my birthday and I AM SO EXCITED!
Curious about when your actual birthday is. Maybe we're birthday buddies? :bday:

I'll also be celebrating my bday at the parks this month (2nd time this has happened - I also went for my 26th)! Super psyched! (Tminus 8 days til liftoff)
