March 2011, Who Is Planning?

We will be going March 14 to 21. Anyone know what the weather is like there at that time?

Debating...I did March this year and while the crowds were bare..the weather was freezing and windy (unusually cold) and we paid 1200.00 more as the prices are peak. That was on the 4/3 discount as well.ohhhhhh what to do???

Just curious....the operative word is "freezing". What kind of temperature would you be talking? Where I'm from "freezing" is like 3' of ice covering the lake. Would your "freezing " be say 60 or less?? :confused3

Last year, early March was unusually cold with highs in the 50s/60s and overnight lows in the 30s/40s.

Just booked a trip for me and my DD age 17. We have not been in a year and are having Disney withdrawals. We will be there March 16 through March 21. We are staying at the POFQ. It is my favorite moderate resort. By choosing those dates managed to get round trip tickets from Dallas around $200.

We were there last march from the 10-15 and it was in the 70s. I am more worried about the rain that we had last year. I believe one day they got over 2in of rain. We had 2 days of totally miserable weather. Even with ponchos we were totally soaked. We still had a blast though.

No no NO! No talk of bad weather!

All of us March vacationers are going to have blissfully balmy weather with no rain! :cool2:

Who's with me?!?!?

I'm with you....70's with low humity would be wonderful!!!

Can you all tell me what discounts you were able to get for March and when you got the discounts? We are planning March 2012 :)

The plan right now is March 2-9. We need to get the official Ok from DH yet before we can say yes for sure...but the plan is sometime in March.

March 13-22 @ POR for us. Hoping for warm, balmy weather. Low 70s~my cup of tea. Were there 2 years ago, same time frame, and the weather was fabulous-convertible top down fabulous. :worship: Hoping it's 'dry', too.

We were there that year too. I think we went left for home on the 14th or 15th and most days were in the 80's! I heard last year it was quite cold.

We will be at AS Movies March 6 and Poly CL March 7-9. We decided to add a Disney mini-trip to the back end of our Disney Dream Cruise March 3-6. DH is so sweet! Mom and sis will be along for the fun this time around. Sis is 23 and has never cruised or done Disney. Unfortunately, their stay at Dis will only be one day because she has to get back to classes. Oh well, just another excuse to go back!!!!

I didn't see a March 2011 thread so I am starting one. So far the only thing I know is that we want to go sometime between March 12-20 because that is when DD's spring break is. This would be our third year in a row for spring break in WDW. So far we are undecided on resorts since our budget isn't determined but we are looking at POP, POR, WL and the Poly. POP and POR are the more likely choices. Anyone else making plans for 2011?

We are doing a long weekend March 3-7 to celebrate our first anniversary staying at GF.

I have not been to Disney since my senior year of high school in 2000, so I am excited!

We are offically booked! But our actual WDW days won't start till April. We are going on the Dream before that! :cool1:

We will be there March 12-20 split stay at SSR and POR. This is our first March trip there so I am excited to see what kind of weather we get.
