Have you ever considered pricing what it would cost to rent points from a DVC member compared to staying in the value resorts?

The rooms have at least kitchenettes and you can save quiet a bit by having breakfast in the room. It sort of makes up for the extra expense that time of year.

Just checking in! I had a brief freak out week or two when I thought I might want to bump our trip to Oct 08. But I decided that even though I love the idea of Halloween there...March was very good to us last year. I am guessing we will be staying at the ASMu family suites this time around. I just wish I could find good airline prices.

We ate at the Kona cafe and it was wonderful!! I can't wait to go there again and I think we will hit the Sci Fi up this time also. I don't know much about it though...but it sounds cool.

TGM is definetly worth the money I think. It's easy to get overwhelmed with the all the information he has over there though, so once you get signed up just take it slow. We do have lots of time!!!

We used TGM for our trip last December and it was right on. We were there the week before Christmas and when we stuck to "the plan" we didn't wait in line longer than 10 minutes. It was a beautiful thing!

Maybe I am a little slow but I checked out TGM's site a bit.

Do you have to pay the $21.95 for each vacation you plan using the site or is it a year membership?


It looks like a great site but I found the information on the cost and how often you have to pay vague.

It is for a trip so if you join now you get it till 60 days past the trip. My last membership expired in February which was 60 days after my December 2006 trip. I opted to renew (at a discounted rate) for my March 2008 trip. This membership will stay open till May 2008.

If you are spending thousands on the trip consider $20 more for his info. His Least Crowded Park Chart is worth that and then some.

Depending on when your trip was you would have access to the LCPC that were up. They are usually out about 6 months in advance so it would kind of depend.

For example my last trip was in December and my membership ran till Feb. I could still browse the articles and forums in that time but there was no specific information for March 2008 out yet so I couldn't really DO anything. The LCPC for March 2008 will hopefully be out in September, just in time for ADRs.

I think I have figured out the ADRs we will need. That is of course if the schedule I've made up will work out TGM's best days guide.

Dinner- Liberty Tree Tavern(this one I'm unsure of right now.)

Lunch- Rainforest Cafe-Animal Kingdom
Dinner- Le Celier
Dinner- Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package
Breakfast(late seating actually Lunch for us)- 1900 Park Fare

I was working on my first of many rough drafts of an itinerary last night. I said to DH in bed "Boy this is just where I was a year ago having to redo this and rethink it all and figure it out" He said to me "Yes and this is just where I was a year ago having to listen to you tell me all about this". Good thing he is not coming this time!

Are you counting back from last years Easter on Mikes March advice or just guessing? I am not sure the best way to do it?

I've been counting back from Easter. I love all the information he has on his site though it was a bit overwhelming at first!!
