Momsgoofy - what do you interpret?

The first trip without kids? Wow, that would be fun! :lovestruc

Have a great time. We are leaving in 65 days and I can't wait.

I am a sign language interpreter...ASL...been doing this since 1995.

Yes, the first trip without DS was wonderful! :thumbsup2 I sound like such an awful mom saying that, but I think that we all need a little time away from the ones we love once in a while. ;)

The coolest part of the trip is that DH got (as he put it) "pixie dusted and Disney fried", which for me means that he is now checking out the allearsnet.com site for behind the scenes tour info, dining menus, and asking way more questions than ever before. He even installed a countdown on the desktop and tells me everyday since we left WDW. :rotfl: Only 54 more days...:cheer2:

I have a friend that works in the public school here teaching kids how to sign. Some of them are learning before they lose all of their hearing. She has been doing it for about 15 years now and is excellent at her work.

We were at a social function with my brother and a man was signing but was having some problem. She went over and introduced herself and gave him a few tips and helped him out. She has a gentle way about her and he was so grateful for the tips. I was wonderful to see. He son is only 15 months old and signs as well.

I think you will be at WDW the same time that I am. We will be at OKW from March 8 - March 15 - only 50 days for me.

Has anyone gone to WDW the week before Easter? We are going The 14th - 21st leaving the friday before Easter Sunday.... I was hoping it wouldnt be as bad as the week after Easter. Does anyone know? Tia!!

If your referring to park attendance, its going to be packed. That week is a major week for spring breaks all over the country.

:worship: We can all just hope that since Easter is so early that Spring Breaks are more spread out and it won't be crazy busy. I know that it seems like no two school districts in our area have the same spring break this year.

This is just what we are hoping on as well. I read tons of be stuff about Easter week before and week after... but all thoes reviews were of April Easter none in march easter. We were able to get all our ADR only 3 months out excpet for LeCellier dinner (we got lunch) so i'm wondering if that's a good sign??? Also we are going to plan on taking it slow since we will be at the parks for so many days this time... I've been reading unoffically guide trying to brush up on crowds!!!

Yes, we'll be there at the same time although our trip is shorter than yours. (Dagnabit!)

I had to redo some of my original planning for this trip since we've gotten back from the January trip because DH wanted to do another segway tour. The March trip has to be the most difficult for me to plan in part because DS is marching in the MK, which we don't want to miss and now because of DH's requests. Oh, well, I'm up to something...:rolleyes1 I want to start taking my great nieces and nephews to WDW; each for their own special trip. I've almost got DH convinced this is do-able and he isn't required to go unless he wants. So, a little uh, "catering to his whims" is a good thing right now. :rotfl:

So for now, March looks like this for us...

Monday 3/10 - arrival & late dinner at Narcoosee's
Tuesday 3/11 - Wilderness Backtrail Adventure (segway tour), possible afternoon tea with a friend, & Pirate & Princess Party
Wednesday 3/12 - if no tea on Tuesday then will have it on this day, dinner at Restaurant Marakesh
Thursday 3/13 - Keys to the Kingdom Tour & DS's band marches before Dreams Do Come True parade, dinner at Spoodles, Adventurer's Club
Friday 3/14 - depends on our departure time

we will be in pop for these days. Anyone know the crowd levels for then? ESPN weekend is that weekend so hoping for the best

This is our very first trip to Disney! I have 3 boys - 6,3 and "S'tinkerbell" will be 6 months old by the time we travel. We're towing our trailer and staying at Ft Wilderness.

We just started our countdown - I found DIsney Dixie Bath cups for $3 at Big Lots, and last night counted out 2 x 40 and numbered the bottom, so every evening when we brush our teeth we can count how many "big sleeps" there are left until our trip!

I am so excited, DH not so much and the kids are just feeding off of me :yay:

It's the Marching Lion's Right? :cheer2:

I have it on my calendar but I did not note who, or where on the board I found out about them. Is this your group?

I've visited the boards for sometime and finally decided to participate.

Will be in WDW from 2-27 and leave on 3-11 just the 2 of us (dh and myself)
Staying at ssr for 3 days and bwv for the remainder of our stay. It's been 3 yrs since our last visit, dh loves baseball and we will see 4 games during our stay.

Yes, that is correct. It's the Carterville High School Marching Lions from Carterville, Illinois. I should post a photo of them so you will be able to recognize them, but I'm on my desktop right now and the photos are on my laptop. I got all excited this morning when I read the local paper's headline about "band going to Walt Disney World" then I realized it was another school only 10 miles away. That school (our school's rival) will be marching on Monday March 10th before the afternoon parade in MK. As much as a rival the 2 schools are I wish I could be there to support them both, but we will probably be landing at MCO when the other school is marching.

momsgoofy, we are going to try and catch the band, so be sure and send a picture of them. Go LIONS! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Be sure and keep me posted about the band. You can email me pictures if you like. jlmcnab@cogeco.ca.

Make sure you tell me your screen name in the email so I know who sent them.
