Nope, it's not too late - we figured we would cut off at end of month so you've got plenty of time - please either post or PM me with the following:

Cabin #
DISBoard Name
Name(s) of people in cabin with their:
Relationship (DH, DW, DD, DS, etc, etc)
Age of children (at Cruise)
Dining (main/late)
Home State/Country

And I will get you added to the FE list - I will be posting the google link to the list for everyone after cutoff. I will also be asking that everyone check the list and confirm all of their info when we get about a week off from cut-off (which will be in just a week and a half or so!)

Do you break the group up into smaller groups? I have seen some posting that they are exchanging with 100+ other people. Which would be fantastic, but on this trip I am going to be taking on my elderly parents and inlaws and I just don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

Well, as far as guidelines, there are not really any - LOL! Here are a couple of links that might help answer your questions, and then if you have any specific questions, let me know.

As far as "the group" - so far we are only 6 cabins and a total of 29 people. I don't see us growing that much in the next two weeks, so as far as having too many, that I can't see.

However, that being said, yes, if by some miracle we ended up with more than 15 cabins I would certainly suggest we split the group up into two fairly equal size groups.

One thing, though, I just want to say - just do as much as you are comfortable with. If it's a cabin-only gift, or whatever, that is fine. The NUMBER ONE RULE: HAVE FUN! The number two rule is that "anything goes"!
I know on our last cruise we had a quite large FE group, and we got some wonderful gifts. Some gave one gift to the cabin (scrapbook, journal, CD, special magnet, etc, etc) and some gave "smaller" gifts to each person in the cabin. It is TOTALLY UP TO THE GIVER as to what they want to give!

I was in the same"boat" as you last year- trying to write enough posts so I could send my pm in! I hopped around to a bunch of different forums and wrote quick responses to various threads about WDW trips- that was easiest for me since I had not cruised before and didn't feel I could contribute anything meaningful on the cruise threads- though I loved lurking on them pre - cruise as I really learned a lot!

That's pretty much what I did but took a while so I didn't sound too stupid! I am so excited about the trip. Just bought plane tickets today. Glad I waited cause price dropped about $400. on the tickets by waiting. Now just trying to get all the rides lined up. My DH Patrick spent 6 months on active duty in Orlando last year so now all his former co-workers and friends want to see us while we are in town. Thankfully they are helping us out by picking us up and taking us around (saves us money!) especially as the Disney bus does not go to Shades of Green even though it is right across the way from the Polynesian!

PS - I don't mean to be a "hard nose" about this, but if I do not hear from you by February 15, you will be removed from the list. That is two weeks from now and should give you plenty of time to respond. The only reason I am doing this is because it's happened to me - some don't respond, you make their gifts, and then they drop out last minute! So PLEASE be respectful of your fellow DIS'ers and give them the courtesy of a response! Thank you very much....

WOW! Didn't even think about St. Patty's day - thanks for the reminder....and thanks for confirming.

We also have a DS, but neither child will be joining us this trip, first time with no kids on a cruise for us, we're excited (and they are too as they'll be spending the week with Gma and Gpa and going to DL).....

We are doing the Atlantis water park for Nassau (my DS can't wait!). My DH is not really a beach person (whatever!) so DS and I are snorkeling and I signed up for parasailing - have always wanted to do that! Other than that just going to go with the flow. I hope to be another 10-20 lbs down but will see, need to step up the exercise significantly if that is going to happen. Need to start on the stair stepper machine so I don't have to use the elevators on the cruise!

Can't say we're much beach ppl either ....but we are going to Atlantis just to see it, but we are waiting until the 3 day. Heard from one of the Cast Members on another cruise it's not to be missed. Not sure what we're doing on CC, probably just going in to mail some postcards and walk around a bit. Will probably go down to Serenity Bay since we don't have kids this time.

My DH did the parasailing on CC one year, he said it was quite the experience (I'm too chicken, I don't like rollercoasters either!)....he always tells everyone to be sure to do the "dip".

Thinking about using stairs.....but my bad knee limits me on what I can/can't do, so we'll see. If it's not giving me fits, I can handle it!
