No, My wife & I are on the Magic in 5 days. And My DS(11) & I are going on this cruise in 49 days... its a "guys trip"!

Well I have changed my post WDW resort again I had booked the Contemporary, but I was not thrilled about it so the Caribbean Beach resort finally came up with rooms for the PIN I got so I changed it and I think the girls will love it.

We also did the GADGAD and my account is showing pending verification today, hoping to use the fast pass option for the Friday after the cruise. We are starting to get so excited.

Did your whole family do the GADGAD? So you have a one-day pass for each person? Are they single park passes, or hoppers?

We all did it, so I will get 3 vouchers that can be used for 3,1 day passes for 1 park only.

I know the girls have a couple of day passes left over from a previous trip, but not sure about myself, so I think I will use 1 ticket from myself, and then the other 2 for the special fast passes that you can get instead on the park ticket. I am sure the park will be busy on March 18

We'll be right there with you! Staying until the afternoon of the 21st. Kids are off on 3/22, so we figured we'd maximize our time there. We're not exactly too sure when we're going to be going back, as when we cruise again in July '11 we are going south after the cruise to spend a week in the Keys instead of going to WDW <shudder!>. Maybe we can squeeze in a day or two before the cruise...

The resevation people at WDW must shake their heads when I call, changed resorts once again. My sister is now joining us for the cruise and WDW, so I decided to get 2 rooms at the Pop Century instead, my kids are pleased as Pop Century is one of their favorite.


Tomorrow we can say next month we cruise.

At the "next month" we cruise mark finally!!!
Whooo. So much stress at work I just cannot wait to escape to the Wonder. I am off work today to take my DS to see his Pediatrician. (a whole other stress there)
Anyhow, if it were not for this cruise to look forward to--I would be so down in the dumps right now. THis is what I love about Disney.

I'm tryin to get on this cruise, but I'm waiting for a space available rate to open up for CMs. I know the chances aren't likely, but it's the only time DBF can get away from school, so it's this cruise or no cruise. Wish me luck! I'll keep everyone informed!

Okay--Happy Valentine's Day all. ONE MONTH UNTIL WE BOARD THE WONDER!!!
I am going to attempt to do some magnets today.And as of today--no more play places for the kids before the trip(just think why go to a germ infestation)
We load up on vitamins and hope for the best. Just got over colds.
Started packing. I am so excited. Bought new luggage on sale-Heys.
Tomorrow is Family Day and so a day off work(but we have to work an extra day at the end of the school year to make up for it so, I won't think it so great on June 28th.) Working on report cards and I am going to reward myself next weekend with a trip to the States and Kohls to get last minute items.
Are there shorts/sundresses out in the States??? I am having a heck of a time finding shorts for DD (DS there have been though) I also cannot seem to find much in the way of capris for me. So, I am hoping Kohls will suit my purpose.

I so need a long weekend, but of course watching too much of the Olympics, I think they are going to inspire my oldest dd to take up hockey.

I just got a shipment from Heys this week, packing cubes, travel scale and a new leather travelmate bag, that I just love. We are going with 2 bags only this time so we are packing light.

Friends were to go on the Magic yesterday, hope they had frun at Epcot instead, now the girls are woriied that something like this would happen, but I am sure DCL took care of them

I hope it warms up some more before we head down.

Yes there is a hair dryer in the room. I have never used it, but have read that they are not the best.

I find if I start packing too soon I overpack. I seem to keep finding things to add, so I try to restrain myself to not start too soon. I do have the suitcases out and some things I know we are taking. i just need to hold off on the clothes. That's just me!

The hair dryers are there, but they take forever to dry your hair. I guess if you have short hair it would be fine, but if you have really thick hair or very long hair it would be best to pack your own.
