Hello! This is my first post and we are PIF for this DC!! We are SUPER excited! I am interested in joining the FE list. I dont feel like I could take over the list since this is the first time we have known about this option on the cruise. It sounds so super fun tho!! We would love to participate. Hi All....I have been away from the boards for awhile! How is everyone's planning going?

We have 2 DCL excursions booked: PV we are doing the Yelpas & Maja(something). In Cabo we booked the Whale watching. In Mazaltan we don't have anything booked. I think we are staying on the ship that day. I booked Palo's brunch, which we have never done. I also booked a couple of spa treatments, which I have never done. Should be a good trip.

After the holidays I am going to work on my shuttles to and from the port.

I see you are from Overland Park! I work in Overland Park and we live in Olathe! Can you give me some ideas for how the FE gifts work? What do people typically do and how many do you need to purchase/make each night?

Just found out about this forum and am so excited to learn more about the Disney Cruises from those of you that have travel on the line. We've cruise Royal Carribean, NCL and Carnival but we've heard Disney is the BEST. We have a 7 year old and we can't wait to be on this cruise with you all. Pointer, hints and if anyone can tell me about decorating my door or doing the fishing activity I would grealy appreciate it. I've started the countdown in my house ...so after Christmas we have 11 weeks till we sail. Can't wait.

Welcome! This is our 3rd Disney cruise and we won't go on any other! You and your family will have so much fun! There is nothing like it! There are people on this site that will make the graphics for your door after you request it. Just put graphics in the search bar and you can surf what they have to offer. We will print them off, laminate them, and put magnets from Hobby Lobby on the back as to not damage the doors. We are participating in the FE list this time but this is our first so I am learning myself what that is about!! Sounds super fun tho!! We have not planned any excursions yet but are going to as soon as Christmas is over. Don't forget to book Palo's when your PIF. That is a wonderful experience in itself!

Awesome! Another KC family!!!! We have another family that lives in Lee's Summit. We have been getting together so the kids can get aquainted... next time you need to come! I will let you know... we just got together today to build gingerbread houses

On the Fish Extenders, Right now, we have about 30 families participating. To make it easier, we are going to split that into 2 groups, so we don't have to buy for that many cabins. When it gets closer to the cruise, we will assign a specific day to each family to deliver, just to make sure that there is something in there each day. You can deliver more than that if you want to. It is a ton of fun! We are doing homeade gifts But you can do whatever you want to... everyone loves it!

PS.... we go to Life Church in Olathe

If I have anything I think could be helpful, I will definitely speak up! I hope someone does a "Live from" thread or blog while on the cruise so I can still go with you! I was really looking forward to Disneyland. I think I'll miss DL more than the cruise. We have the October cruises to look forward to, but we still have the school construction issue also. If they don't get the new school finished in time, that could derail the October cruise. We'll just roll with it & see what happens!!

Hello Cruise Friends!! I have emailed my final update of the list. Dicecatt is taking over the list though. Mindy offered as well, but I had already had everything setup with Erin. Those of you who have joined the thread lately, I'm sure you will get instructions on how to join the list shortly. I hope you all have a great time. Oh My, I never stopped to think about movies on board... Maybe, because I have never been to the theater on board. I was always to busy. This is our first 7 day so I am sure DH and I will be taking advantage of the theater!

That would be great to get together!! I have boy/girl 8 yo twins and a DD 2year old. This is our 3rd Disney cruise and I am just now learning all the extra fun things we can do!! We made gingerbread houses today also! I will have to work on some ideas for the FE and see what brillant things I can come up with!! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and looks like we just might get a dusting for a white Christmas!! Oh and we go to Heartland Church in Olathe!! Have you all booked any excursions? We have not gotten to that yet and am trying to figure out how we are getting to port from LAX next also. We are going in the day before and will be booking a hotel somewhere then geting to port...all that fun stuff to figure out yet!!
All in the new year tho!! Lots to do the next 48 hours!!

Merry Christmas to all the Fiesta crew (and lurkers as well!). Have busy day ahead today (Tuba Christmas of course as the first tradition for the day) culminating in a big Christmas Eve service this evening. And it finally feels like Christmas as we were 85 degrees on Tuesday!

We are PIF! Made the last payment today as our Christmas Present.

Can't do any booking until the 28th, so we're not really looking at excursions, etc, yet. We'll see what is open and decide then.

Since this is our first cruise, I am thinking that we'll just spend most of the time on the ship, or just wander around town in port. Not sure yet.

Christmas is over! Dont get me wrong, I love Christmas but now its time to start planning. I got out the luggage with DH today and figured the amount we need to bring. Kids are bigger and a 7 day cruise=more space needed. Within the next few weeks DH and I are going to go and get the items to start making our FE gifts. Does anyone know if we are still splitting the list? The list we got from Allen just recently, only has 18 families on it. That seems doable to me, but talked about splitting if it got close to 30. I plan on making enough for 22 families incase some people pop on last minute. I am soooo excited.
