March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

Now we're on page 25!! Maybe it will pick up again!! :teeth:

I am sure it will pick up as time gets closer. Our days are so busy with both dd's running XC. Tomorrow is their first meet.

I can't wait to find out my room number!! I have a CAT 11 GTY. I don't care if I don't get an upgrade. I will be happy in an 11. I am just so excited that I get to go!

I've been so swamped too...between the kids' homework and juggling competitive cheer for dd5 and dd11, high school cheer for dd15, and football for ds11, we are wiped out.

I've got a couple of things upcoming also so my mind isn't on this cruise quite yet...WDW in two weeks to see a friend's daughter that is in the Disney College program (she is going to show my daughter around to see if it is something DD wants to do) and then we are doing a short 3 day cruise on October 7th, just DH and me. He isn't going on the MR with us so we thought we'd squeeze a short one in;).

After that, I'll be consumed with planning this one! I have barely read through the excursions, which is unlike me. Something to look forward to:thumbsup2.

I have given some thought to themed FEs for this one though...I think I have a fun idea.

This is a great time to shop for summer things; we went yesterday and I got summer clothes and shoes for my girls really cheap. You know it won't be cheap in March~

Time is going to fly by now.....both dd's have cross country meets EVERY saturday from now until Nov. 13. No free weekends until Thanksgiving!! :woohoo:

Still checking every day just to see if they have given me a room # yet. I guess the longer they wait the better it will be :thumbsup2 Really I don't care where I am on the ship, as long as I am on the ship, I am happy :cloud9:

So who all is going to book Palo??? We have not eaten there yet. This will be our 4th cruise. I don't know if I can talk my dh into it.

Have a great Labor Day!!!

Absolutely booking Palo. :woohoo::yay: Will book brunch and dinner. Palo is one of the major highlights of our cruise!!! :lovestruc

A couple of weeks ago I started training for a marathon. I'm really looking forward to running on the ship!!

Absolutely yes to Palo! Hopefully dinner, brunch AND tea:) I've never done High Tea, it just never fits into the other things I want to do, but dinner and brunch are both awesome.

It is the best meal on the ship. If it's the formality your dh doesn't like, try the brunch. Dress code for brunch is cruise casual. We have done dinner in Palo every cruise and brunch twice. They are different experiences, you won't be disappointed in either choice!!

Yes, it is the dress code and also the $$ he doesn't want to spend anymore on food since we have such good food in the dinning rooms. Plus, I am such a picky eater that it probably wouldn't be worth the extra $. I am a plain jane when it comes to food. Meat and potatoes girl here.

Love..Love...Love Palo. I too thought it was ridiculous to spend money on food when it's free. This is such an awesome experience though, I feel so classy. It's very yummy and the staff are so nice. We're doing dinner and brunch, can't wait. I'm glad my hubby insisted we go. :lovestruc:lovestruc

Denise, you girls can eat dinner with me when you go. I know I won't be able to talk Michael into it!! But that is okay. I really enjoy the dinning rooms.

183 days until I leave :banana::woohoo:

I checked the DCL website and it seems the only rooms available for a quad are the one bedroom suites....maybe I will be upgraded from an 11A to a suite :wizard: Yea right.....I will be happy with an 11A.....just get me on the ship ASAP!

We are seriously thinking about staying on the ship at our first port. All my dd's want is a place right off the ship to buy something.

I'm with you Hope; I really just want to shop around port. If we go to Disneyland the Saturday before, we won't have much money at all for excursions. I'm fine with that, I love the ship and want to spend as much time on it as possible. Apparently on our last one I missed a lot of things. I'm going to pay much more attention this trip. I think we were so excited for our first DCL cruise we rushed through it. You know we couldn't wait to see the next place for dinner etc. popcorn::

This may have been posted already, but I confirmed with Disney:

Night 2: Formal Night
Night 6: Semi Formal (Cabo day)
Night 4: Pirate Night (Puerto Vallarta day)

Cabo tenders, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan docks.

Also, I have saved some 2008 Navigators that I found for this itinerary (although the itnerary is reversed). If anyone wants access, PM me...they are in my private site but I built a whole big section on this intinerary, so feel free to PM me and I'll give you the link and the password. Lots of shore excursion information too, not through Disney.

Thanks! Don't remember seeing it yet. Anyone know if there will be, and what the cost will be for transportation to the port from DL and back to DL after the cruise??

I read about PALO, and your excitement on going I think Ill go and check it out! :lmao:After all of the cruises I have been on I have never been to Palo. I know, sin words, but we never made it a priority. A nice dinner with DH is a must.
PS. for those of you who have never been to DL the Blue Bayou restaruant is A MUST!!!! It is the best, and the food is wonderful. Just a suggestion. We are going to DL in a few weeks and have my reservation made! Gotta get my Disney fix.
Counting down the days......

Hi there! We are are this cruise as well! Can't wait!

I found some info for those of you that are interested! I know someone was asking about transfers and parking at the port. Here is what I found:

Parking at the Port of Los Angeles
An outdoor facility is operated by the Los Angeles Port Authority. The cost is $84.00 per parking space for a 7-night cruise. Cash, traveler's check and credit cards are accepted. Rates are subject to change. A valid disability parking permit is required for accessible parking.

Checking in at the Port of Los Angeles
The Cruise Terminal opens at 10:00 a.m. and boarding begins around 1:00 p.m. At check-in, you need to present all required documentation, and proof of citizenship for each member of your party. Disney Cruise Line representatives will be on hand to direct you to the appropriate check-in station. Additionally, on the day of your sailing, all Guests must board the ship no later than 4:00 p.m. Please plan your arrival accordingly to avoid the possibility of not being permitted to sail with us.

We strongly encourage you to fill out your travel forms prior to your arrival in Los Angeles using My Online Check-In.

Also for those of you looking for ground transportation from Disneyland to Port I found this. Transportation Is $30.00 each way:

Ground Transportation – Disneyland Resort to Port
Disney Cruise Vacations will offer Ground Transfers for Guests enjoying the Hotels at Disneyland Resort to the Port of Los Angeles. Transfers may only be purchased in advance.

Disneyland Hotel
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel
Approximate Transfer Travel Time:
Disneyland Resort to the Port of Los Angeles = approximately 1 hour depending on traffic conditions

All Guests will check-in at the cruise terminal.

Ground Transportation is also available for Guests who have arranged a hotel stay at Disneyland Resort after their Mexican Riviera cruise.

We recommend that you allow a minimum of 4 hours at the beginning and end of your cruise for travel time, customs/immigrations clearances and security checks at the Port of Los Angeles and the airport. Additionally, on the day of your sailing, all Guests must board the ship no later than 4:00 p.m. Please plan your arrival accordingly to avoid the possibility of not being permitted to sail with us.

For more information, please call (800) 951-3532. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Night 2: Formal Night

Sorry, but would you mind clarifing for me? Do you mean Monday night,(as that would be our second night on the ship) or Tuesday night (our second sea day). Thanks!

And I was told Mazatalan was Pirate night!!! ( Thursday night) Weird!
I called customer service a while back because the port time had changed from our original booking. Mazatalan was 7:30 to 7 pm, and then changed to7:30 to 6:00pm. The CS rep said that was pirate night and we would want to be on the ship for that! Of well, we will find out soon enough!

And it's also weird that Cabo is semi formal. Usually it is on a sea day. Haha! We are going to be Sooooo dirty from our ATV racing excursion!

Thanks for posting this though. Makes planning Palo a lot easier!
