SAFD: if the registration gods are in our favor going for the half first, followed by 10k and hoping desperately not to go to the 5k. If we get shut out. I am still coming but it would be sad for me.

SAFD: Already have my Goofy bib through a charity and my room reservation through DVC, so everything is set for my 8th MW!

And this time I'm checking out the following Sunday, so no last minute rocking up to the airport direct from DATW.

I made a goal to do a 5k a month in 2026 and so far have done that and have my next 2 already scheduled (actually started in December '25) and thinking I'm going to sign up for the Half Marathon for '27

SAFD: I will be running Dopey #4. Bib secured through A Running Passion already. Assuming all goes well with Springtime and Wine and Dine plans, the marathon will be my 50th runDisney finish line. My first race was the MW half in 2015 (then I had a hiatus until MW 2022, and since then I have been at all of them— a failed Goofy, a marathon DNS due to COVID, and then three successful Dopeys). MW is my favorite so I’m happy.

SAFD: I’m in for Dopey #6 via charity and am very excited for that! But, I’ll also be running the registration gauntlet as my oldest wants to make her return to MW post grad school. Fingers crossed we can get a couple more bibs. Looking forward to seeing all you fun people in just ten short months!

SAFD: I mentioned before but my schedule is going to allow for me to participate in MW without immediately jumping on a plane after finishing the marathon. This is probably the only time as long as I'm working I'll be in this situation so I'm going to try for a one-and-done Dopey. Not sure what my backup plan is for registration but I need one as getting into Dopey is unlikely these days.
I had my DS halfway talked into doing the 5k there, but then he remembered I wake up at 2am for these races and he backed out. The new spread out start schedule could change his mind, but I can't guarantee him a late start. We have no idea how that's going to work. If i could, I'd be registering him for that though.
