NO JOKE I think cheering for 6+ hours today (3.5 at TTC and 3 at Epcot) was harder than yesterday's HM! I was on my feet the whole time and my voice is shot from shouting and cheering, but it was SO SO SO MUCH fun. Signs were a hit -- I swapped Worst Parade Ever for the Ted Lasso Believe sign at the end and got a ton of reaction and people slapping the sign. Tissues once again were appreciated, and all the Cokes were gone fast. I'll definitely do this again.way to go everyone. I have to say cheering for 3 hours is not easy. Saw @Fischstick
Correct. And yes it is on the doc.Look forward to seeing folks tomorrow for DATW. 11:00 on Mexico correct (and sorry in advance if it’s on the awesome spreadsheet)?

People have been talking/asking about him all week and he's definitely not here. Someone today said they saw a video he did a while back saying he was taking a break.Anyone know what happened to Jogging Jack Sparrow? Didn’t see him this year and he hasn’t posted in a bit.
FTFYSomeone saying the course cutting was a medical staff call, theyhit their limitfailed to provide staff adequate to the need with how many athletes are getting treated.
Oh, I’m sure! I don’t mean to downplay the impact of heat: I run through endless weeks of heat indexes of 90-100º all summer. It’s uncomfortable, unpleasant, and can be dangerous if folks aren’t acclimated and/or don’t take actions to mitigate the impact of heat.I found the heat brutal, and so did many of the people around me. The humidity really gets you if you aren't used to it. I saw a person just laying flat out and medical had to come around mile 24.
WE DID IT!!!!

So proud of Erika for gutting that out. It was very tough. Especially the last half in the heat. I guess we made it through before it was shortened
And thanks to everyone this weekend. We got a lot of encouragement from all of you.
Is he taller than me?And thanks to my perfect life and running partner. I would not have made it without him!
DH and I arrived late and I saw you as I was making my rounds to greet everyone, and then you left before I talked to you. I asked someone “who was the tall guy with a V on his shirt” and was dismayed to find I had missed a chance to talk to you. Coming to DATW tomorrow?Nice meeting yall this morning. Hope y’all have a great race!
Agreed, and I live hear and am used to it. There were a LOT of people getting medical attention. The temp might not have been *that* high, but the sun was bright, there were very little clouds, and it felt like hell, literally. I was dumping water on myself at each water stop, kept the sponge in my bra, and took ice at Boardwalk.I found the heat brutal, and so did many of the people around me. The humidity really gets you if you aren't used to it. I saw a person just laying flat out and medical had to come around mile 24.
Pleasure meeting you. Hope you had a great race today.Nice meeting yall this morning. Hope y’all have a great race!
