I'm only just looking at the theme now! I hadn't even started to think about 2026 and randomly checked two days ago and realised registration was tomorrow! I had it in my head it was April! LUCKY!

Was supposed to have my dad sign us up for dopey because I am in lectures all day but decided to try for a que time at 9:50. Luckily I did that because I ended up having the 30 minute wait and Dad only had over an hour. Now we are all signed up for Dopey! Time to start training for POT!!

My husband missed out on Dopey by a few minutes. Probably would have gotten in if he would have been in this thread, but alas, he’s not a DISer.

My guess is that there’s no hope for this year, right?

Do we know if Disney restocks preorder merch? I kind of want the Goofy hoodie but it’s saying sold out in S and I don’t know if M will be huge on me. ETA never mind lol I decided I might actually wear it MORE if it’s a little oversized!

I don't recall preorders selling out *before* races selling out. We'll have to wait and see on this one but would be dumb of them to not get more stock.

Hope registration went ok, friends. For this who got disappointed this morning... I hope it is ok to post this (will absolutely take it down if it's inappropriate for the thread):

The charity I am running with, Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), still has slots, though availability has already changed throughout the morning. PPMD's annual advocacy event is going on in Washington DC right now, amidst concerns about cuts to research and health care.

As of noon 1pm:
5k (with fundraising requirement of $500 over registration)
10k ($750)
Half Marathon ($1,300)
Full Marathon ($1,300)
5k and 10k ($1,250)
Goofy ($1,500) (availability has fluctuated for the last hour or so)
Dopey is sold out.

uuuuuuugh. I could get the goofy hoodie with what's left on my GC. But idk what sizing is going to be like. And I feel like Goofy merch doesn't sell out very quickly.

I probably won't be making it to the Expo until after HH so I'm on the fence right now about pre-orders. I always seem too see a lot of Goofy merch still available on Day 1 - but maybe not by Day 3....

You know I'll hook you both up with my early access if you decide not to preorder.

I just gotta say that was indeed crazy!! If it was not for a link shared on here I would not have gotten in on the marathon. My link went live at or around the time the marathon sold out. Also, the coffee has be ready to bounce off the walls now. Going to be a weird day!

Actually….
1. Charities if you want to do the fund raising
2. Get the Telegram app and set it for alerts when rD starts releasing additional bibs
3. As race day approaches, the charities often have remaining bibs for a small(er) donation

I’ve been successful with both options #2 and #3

I'll second the Telegram app....

I was able to convert a Goofy slot to Dopey two years ago. And, more recently, was able to grab a DL half-marathon slot while driving home from this year's Dopey! They even honored my POT even though I was WAYYYY past the deadline for that.

The pin bundle for the Princess half sold out before I could get it for this year. Went back to my registration within a couple days of registration and it was gone. A couple other races were still there but never the half. Fortunately I was still able to get the pins I wanted at the expo the second day, but it was maddening that they had a preorder limit months in advance. My registrations are currently in my sister’s account, so I can’t see merch right now. Hope I can get them linked to mine.
