Marathon Weekend 2025

Confirmed. Line is way out from the building.
Not just that it’s down to where the medal stand pictures are. So it wraps like three/four times and then goes back through the baseball field area and all the way down the hill. I don’t know if this is because everyone’s doing that while waiting for the VQ or what

Expo favor to ask: if anyone can grab a pic of the ESPN Grill menu, I’d be much obliged. It’s not posted online & I’m trying to see if I can plan on grabbing lunch there or if I need to stop somewhere on my way.

IIRC last time I did this I waited until maybe 2 or 3 and I don’t remember it being anywhere near this bad. Weaving into the basketball court area too. The good news is that it’s moving, think I’m close.

Aaaaaand as I finish typing that, I see the line extending outside by the baseball field, as you mentioned. Oof.

I don’t have a pic, but it was 2 burgers (1 impossible) a chicken sandwich of some sort, ramen, a burnt ends bowl and a couple of other things.

Yeah this is wretched, what is happening lol
I think it’s the photo ops causing a backup. All three even the mine one which doesn’t have anyone have long lines
Yeah, I couldn’t resist it at that price.
Same. I was in need of a hanger so that helped. But that being the equivalent of a steal in terms of pricing also helped.
Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy at the expo btw. I think one other photo op but not sure who.
No one at the last one. Just generic photo op

Also A for the 5/10 and D for the half/full.

Corral C for 5k/10k, B for Half/Full. Was behind someone who was in A for 5k/10k and C for Half/Full. 🤨
Idk the answer there but I remember there being weird placing at Jan DL.

Oh snap. I really want that 10-miler medal, but don't think I'll be up to it yet, or be able to justify to DW the $$ to obtain it.
Just dang.
Ya know....the 10 miler is still listed as open. You could walk it (Won't even bring up the "start and be swept and get the medal" route)

Yeah… I’m corral D for the 5k/10k this year with the 8-10 pace.
I expect I'll be there with you.

Seems like 8-10 min are being split into at least two corrals, possibly (probably?) three. Would be curious to hear if anyone who put down <8 min got bumped to B.

Does anyone know the conversion table rundisney uses? I submitted POT from a 10 miler, 1:46:24, 10:39 pace and I’m in D for 1/2 & full. Conversion I’m seeing is 4:38:58 which is well under the new 5 hour POT limit. First Galloway run/walk pace group for corral D is 5:15. Trying to decide if going to runner relations on a less busy day is worth it - if anyone has a similar pace let me know if you’re in c please? Thanks!

I think I saw at least someone on FB who wasn’t in A with that pace. But I might be wrong

They use the chart below. That conversion doesn’t sound right, unless i’m mistaken it looks like it’s just an extrapolated 10 miler pace but the expectation is that your pace would slow over the course of a longer race.

Just a warning that line was long when I passed it.

Also the line to get to where shirt pickup is long enough it’s out in the fields.
