SAFD: My username was created when I had to stop lurking in the TPAS section of the forum and ask some questions while planning a family trip to Disney for almost all of DH's family, during Christmas, in 2017.* It was for over 20 people, and getting them all on my page, finalizing plans, trying to make FPs and coordinating the drive down to Orlando from Michigan (so hotels, food plans, 2 rental houses, matching shirts for park days, you name it I planned it) was the epitome of Herding Cats. I also tried to use a TA for part of that trip and she messed a bunch of stuff up that I was suspicious of and had confirmed here on the boards before it actually messed up stuff, which is probably a big part of why I'm such a control-freak for Disney trips.
To give you some perspective, about half the people in that group had never been out of the state, SIL was about 10mo from passing away from known terminal cancer, one BIL went through their rental house looking for hidden cameras because he was SURE they were being spied on, we made sure to get rental houses with pools and then the in-laws at the other house never let their kids USE IT, someone ate the wrong packed sandwich in the park and people didn't talk to each other for an entire day because they refused to eat any of the other sandwiches packed OR buy something to eat.
And my avatar is obviously Dopey medals from this past MW.
*We stayed a week later than everyone at this trip for a few days at AoA, and it was so cold (MW 2018 anyone?) that the pools were closed the entire time. This was also my first inkling about runDisney when we saw people coming back to their rooms post 5k or 10k in their costumes and with medals.
