I really enjoyed this season, and felt like I was on track/ahead of schedule with shopping, cookies, wrapping, etc. so it was actually less crazy than usual! I was really careful to actually schedule Christmas prep stuff on my calendar and protect that time. Work was manageable and I delegated what I could. I stuck to my training plan, and didn't skip runs and didn't go over/above the plan. I was relatively cautious at holiday parties when offered more wine.

I didn't stay up too late (well, except for once - see holiday parties.) Unfortunately, I'm still sick! But the good news is that it's relatively mild and probably resolved with moderate rest. So it's ideal to have a few days after Christmas and before departure to rest and regroup. We're leaving early Saturday and I'm optimistic that I'll be 100% by then!
