Maps for Park?

Okay, I've got most of my planning and packing list and whatnot taken care of, with still a month to go. I'm soooo excited!

Anyway, I was thinking about park maps. Since this is our first trip, I don't feel comfortable trying to memorize where everything is (not that I even could). I don't know if Disney gives out maps when you enter the parks? But, even then, I'd like to know beforehand where to go, kwim? I'm doing 4X6 cards (printed from the computer) that have each day's plan on them and our ADR times and info. Is there a map out there that can be printed that is roughly the same size folded (like 4X12 and can be folded in half to go with the itenary sheet)?

I did buy a 2007 Passporter last year, so if there's nothing out there that would suit my needs, I could use the maps in that. But, are they accurate and "usable", or do they have flaws?

Here is a map of the area using Live search maps, (Microsoft Earth). Use the Aerial and the Bird's Eye View located at the top right on the map and the map box on the upper left corner to move the map around.

if you booked your trip thru wdw...you can go to the website & have "personalized" ones made.....its neat & a good keepsake!!!

I know the parks pretty well and I still grab a map or two when I walk in you can also get them at several of the carts throughout the parks!

We also got the "personalized" maps from Disney's website. They are free and are really cute for the scrapbook!

You'll still need to pick up a map as you enter each park. I believe they are printed every week and have updated hours and the times that week for special events or shows and attractions that are open other than park hours. Lots of good info.

Also, if you are staying on-site, guest services at the resorts normally have copies of the park maps.

I ordered the customized maps from the disney website and DDs had the best time marking their favorite rides etc with the little dot stickers. I'm not sure how long it takes to ship them but it's also fun just to go through the process because you get to read about the rides/attractions and see great pictures. DDs had fun doing that too.

They are really fantastic and very close to scale, the closest IMO. But you can simply also google image search whatever map you want.
