Making the CB more fun

I'm in.. :thumbsup2

Spring is here (according to the calendar anyhow) and hopefully I'll be back up to the lake by the middle of April..:yay:

I'm loving the time change too! It's nice that my DGD has more time to play outside now after she finishes her homework..:lovestruc

Got quite a bit accomplished on my scrapbooks the past few days.. :goodvibes

"Fluff" is good!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: Thanks for starting this thread..:goodvibes

C.Ann--you are my mentor for fluff threads! :thumbsup2 I've been hoping you'd show up here.

I'll bet you're excited about getting back up to the lake.

I am working on finishing my scrapbook from our Feb WDW trip. Well, finishing is optimistic--I'm not even done with the first day's worth of pictures yet. :lmao: All this fluff has been keeping me chained to the computer.

:rotfl2: Thanks for posting the question AND the thread so I could see the answer, Missy. Because I couldn't figure it out either. You know, I think maybe this summer I'll go back and read them all one right after the other. There's so much that I don't remember.

How did your cabbage rolls come out?

Okay, then you're the person I need to ask. What kind of recipes are in it? Is it all just peanut butter sandwiches (which I would think could be prepared without a recipe!) ? I have a pb sandwich for breakfast anymore so I'm intrigued now. ;)
The restaurant it's from has 20 some different PB sandwiches. I think they had such things as jelly, fluff, bananas and bacon on some of them.

I'd love that restaurant. Although I love peanut butter and I love bacon, those seem like mutually exclusive foods to me. :rotfl:

Ahem. The scrapbook isn't the only WDW chronicle you need to finish. :surfweb:

:rotfl2: I know. My mom is back in town and her driver's license expired while she was gone so I've been running her errands every night. I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow.

Yes, I'm a slacker. ;)

Hi! thought I'd drop by before the Dis shuts down.....

My stuffed cabbage came out really good. I haven't made them in a long time, so they were a nice treat. Have a few left over so I'll eat them for lunch next week.

I want to re-read HP in order. But then I'll probably have more questions!

I love PB&J with a cold glass of root beer. Not much of a milk drinker (bad, I know, but I just can't stand the stuff).

Yay, the DIS is back!! I've been in a horrible mood all day for a variety of reasons and not having the DIS here as a distraction did NOT help. But yay, it's back and the Cardinals won today and now I'm watching a show I loved as a kid (when my parents allowed me to watch it)...

I had the hugest crush on Gary Sandy. HUGEST. :lovestruc

Another fairly mild day here.. Please, please get that snow to melt so I can head for the mountains!! :rotfl:

I spent most of the day downstairs today working on scrapbook pages again.. Can't believe how much progress I'm making..:thumbsup2

Tomorrow before I head downstairs, I have to get busy and print out some photos.. I have a very, very bad habit of loading them onto my computer and then not printing them out until months and months later..

DD is going to try to go and get a perm tomorrow.. It will be interesting to see how it turns out - she hasn't had one in a couple of years now.. Me? I just want this "mop" chopped off! Gonna have to get busy this week and make some additional phone calls to see if I can find someone willing to come to the house to do it.. (Can't breathe with the chemicals in the salons..) I really want it back to being very, very short before I leave for the lake..

Hope everyone had a nice weekend..:goodvibes

Hi! I thought this was the prettiest picture I'd ever seen, so I set it as the wallpaper on my monitor.... and....

WOW!!!!! I have a wide screen monitor and enlarged that much is changes from the prettiest picture to the most eye strain inducing picture ever:upsidedow ......back to my calm picture of the mountains again. That's ok - I :cloud9:my Blueridge! But thanks for the pretty pic !:goodvibes

I could imagine that. It is pretty. But it's also very bright!

My wallpaper is a picture of most of my family at Shea Stadium from last summer. I love looking at that picture!

:rotfl: Yeah, I love the colors in it, but even I have to look away after a while. I can't wait to get out and shoot some of my own photos of the new spring flowers! I walked to Starbucks with a coworker this morning and some of the properties downtown here have planted some absolutely gorgeous tulips (I especially love one hotel across the street from Busch Stadium that has all red and white ones...just masses and masses of them. Not too much longer till Opening Day! )

That reminds me...Missy, how have the Mets been doing this spring? The Cards have been ridiculously good, but who knows how long that'll last. Sigh. :)

Well, a good portion of them were off playing the WBC (another subject for another day), the search for the 5th starter wasn't pretty (looks like it'll be Livan Hernandez), and John Maine has been having location problems. The bullpen appears to be fixed, but I wonder if they can even get there. But they will have a pretty new field to play on, it is spring, and I'm hopeful. I've already got my ticket in hand for a game on May 9 (vs. Pitts., $28), and May 25th (vs. Washington, $90!--but my sister is paying for that as my birthday present)
