Speaking of lasting longer, I keep looking and looking for decent fake gerberas and nobody seems to be able to come up with them. I've seen really nice-looking fake roses before, but never the daisies. Hmph.

That's funny - I never liked ANY fake sflowers at all! Then, many years ago, I bought 2 'vases' of them , both Gerbers, and strictly because they looked so real. It was a long time ago but I still remember where we got them - the Mikasa store (the one new us closed. ) I hope you find some one daqy - I ours. AND if you lived in Richmond I'd share them w/ you! Anyone ever heard of joint custody for faux flowers?!

Okay, HP has some pretty good products. Since their merge with Compaq that have been merging the product lines but still seem to be competing on the market with innovative lines of both laptops and desktop products, not to mention the printer/scanner lines.

I've always wanted to try Nutella, but can never justify spending the money on something I may not like. So I just stand in the PB aisle and stare at it indecisively.

I totally think you should splurge and try Nutella. Then you can tell me if I'd like it or not with no financial output for myself. My SIL tried to give me that Marmite crap to put on my toast when we visited her and just the smell put me off my breakfast completely.

OK, here's the HP question:

I'm re-reading HP 5, and now I have a question.

It's at the beginning, after the dementors attack Harry & Dudley, and Harry's brought him back home. Harry's uncle is questioning what happened, Harry tells him about dementors, the uncle says it funny, and Harry's aunt knows about them & says something about "He told us...", and now we know that the 'he' was Snape. And when Harry mentions that Voldy is back, Petunia goes pale & says "he's back?" and for the first time Harry realizes she's his mom's sister. Then Petunia gets a Howler. Do we ever find out who sent the howler? Was it Snape?

Thanks for posting the question AND the thread so I could see the answer, Missy. Because I couldn't figure it out either. You know, I think maybe this summer I'll go back and read them all one right after the other. There's so much that I don't remember.

How did your cabbage rolls come out?

Okay, then you're the person I need to ask. What kind of recipes are in it? Is it all just peanut butter sandwiches (which I would think could be prepared without a recipe!) ? I have a pb sandwich for breakfast anymore so I'm intrigued now.

Spring is here (according to the calendar anyhow) and hopefully I'll be back up to the lake by the middle of April..

I'm loving the time change too! It's nice that my DGD has more time to play outside now after she finishes her homework..
