Making Reservations for Others ???

I am going to try and make some ressies for my parents to use a property. Will they have pool hopping priveledges as if I were the one staying or is it only for members?

Also, my contract isn't finalized yet but I am able to make reservations...do I have to wait till it is completely finalized to actually stay there? Just trying to figure out if I can book/stay now or if I can only book and then have to wait. I am buying through Disney FYI

Ditto on the room key

I just did an add on and the points were available for me to use as soon as my guide made the entry in the computer. I called MS about 2 hours later and used the points to book. I hadn't signed anything yet, just gave a deposit. Of course, I am already a member and maybe you are just buying your first (heh-heh) round of points?

Can't answer the question about staying before you close....
