Just think about me, I have a steno pad with all the Disney stuff. It looks like a madman got a hold of it with all the writing and scratching out dates.

Our travel dates, right now :lmao:are Oct. 18th -25th.

Have fun at the ip-dip fest!

Thanks, I think we will, I hope they like us!

of COURSE they'll like yoU!!! They are very excited you and Bill are coming!!!

Well, I am, at least.....

 Aww, thank you. I am starting to get excited about it :yay:.

Woo hoo!!! We'll be at Disney the same days! Partially, at least :cool1: We're going from October 22 through November 1.

YAY!! If you see a guy in a wheelchair with his right arm out to the side and a pooh sized woman next to him looking so happy to be in WDW that is us, say hi!!

I was gonna write that we miss you by a day :guilty: (we arrive on the 26th) ...but it's only May so there's a good chance that could change;)

Tracy! I am so excited for you! We will be at POP from Oct 15-19 and will just have to meet you guys!!!! I am so excited! We will have to touch base as it gets closer and you have your schedule all figured out. :cool1: :cool1:

You'll have so much fun in October!!!

Hi Amy, I think we will have a great time. I think it is good that we are trying different times of the year!

I was gonna write that we miss you by a day :guilty: (we arrive on the 26th) ...but it's only May so there's a good chance that could change;)

Hi Heidi, you know I can't even defend myself on that one :lmao:. I have never changed plans this much in my life. I read your reply to Bill and he said, "well, she is right, it probably will change at some point". October is set in stone, I refuse to change that, but we might still be there when you arrive :rotfl:, the amount of days might expand :rolleyes1 you never know!!

OMG :yay:, I would love to meet you. Having us make this change is getting better and better .

June

Disney

Trip

Whoohooty! :cool1:

Bill has told me many times that life can change in an instant, that he wants to live every day to the fullest.
I think we all should think this way a little more! :thumbsup2

He said “you want to go in October, don’t you”? I said “yes
HyperSmiley.gif
, I know it sounds crazy to move our trip to do a meet with people we have never even talked to in real life, but it would only be a tiny portion of our trip. We could do MNSSHP
TrickOrTreatSmiley.gif
, the Food and Wine Festival will be going on, what do you think”? He said to go for it.

I like the way Bill thinks! :cool1:

Hi Angela!! I am starting to think more like Bill, he is starting to rub off on me. It only took him almost 4 years. We had our first date almost 4 years ago on June 19th .

**1st (and hopefully only) change for the June trip:

I got rid of the Tony’s lunch reservation on the 15th . I saw that “The Wave” at the Contemporary was taking ressies for the 7th for dinner and all meals June 8th and beyond. I thought Bill and I could be guinea pigs for the forum and let you know how that restaurant goes, there will be pictures involved.

Now on to Star Wars
star-wars-smiley-5472.gif
… to boldly go where no man has gone before…oh wait a minute, wrong space movie, forgive me. I have seen the Star Wars movies, the old ones when I was growing up, the newer ones either on DVD or at the movies. Bill like most boys, I mean men LOVE Star Wars. I think it was a rite of passage when he was growing up.

When Bill is channel surfing he is known to stop on whatever SW movie that is on. I liken it to my Harry Potter obsession, yes I know I am 38 years old, but I have read all the Harry Potter books and watched the movies, and yes I will be at Universal after they open up the Harry Potter area. So I kind of get it, not all the way, but kind of. I am way more tolerant of Star Wars than he is Harry Potter. I don’t think he has seen one HP movie all the way through
smh.gif
, but he always wants me to watch the Star Wars movies with him.

So what is a woman that really isn’t into Star Wars supposed to do with an entire weekend centered around it?

· Smile, nod
yes.gif
, act interested, and count the minutes until our reservation at 50’s Prime Time Café ?

· Take pictures of the oddly dressed people you know I will see
Smiley-TakingPicture.jpg
?

· Go into shops just to steal the air conditioning
Smiley_ventilator.gif
so I don’t pass out
smiley_toohot.gif
?

How about all of the above!!! I know I talk about dreading this experience, but I am strangely intrigued by it. What makes all these people trek to this experience every year? We actually only have a day and a half of the “weekend” scheduled here. Why only a day and a half you ask? We only have 4 days and 3 nights to get all of the WDW magic we can so we are going to spend time in every park.

The celebrities for the weekend we are going are:

Warwick Davis (Wicket the Ewok)
smiley-channel_de_starwars023.gif

Peter Mayhew ("Chewbacca")
star-wars-smiley-038.gif

David Prowse ("Darth Vader")
star-wars-smiley-013.gif

Why does going to see a guy that was a child when he was in an Ewok suit years and years ago sound appealing? Why did Bill pick the weekend with the men that played Chewbacca and Darth Vader when we all know we never saw the faces or heard the voices of either guy? Yes, I looked it up, it was not David Prowse’s face we saw in Return of the Jedi, it was Sebastian Shaw.

Here is the little bit of trivia I found on Internet Movie Database:

“Darth Vader became the first recurring role in a movie series to be played by three actors at the same time: body by Prowse, voice by James Earl Jones and face by Sebastian Shaw.”

We learn something new every day, well at least I do. (The things I google to make this PTR engaging and accurate
Winkingsmileyanimated.gif
) I never thought I would learn so much about these Star Wars characters.

Next installment…I start to wonder if all these changes are chasing my readers away??

Tracy - your posts always bring a smile to my face. You have such a gift for writing and are very entertaining!

I don't know much about Star Wars either (don't think I've seen any of the movies all the way through :confused3 ) so I am interested to read you view of the weekend. You are a good woman to do this for your man!

I'm excited for you about The Wave too - can't wait to read all about it!

I'm excited for the Wave!

Great! I'm thinking about adding the Wave to our plans in October so this report will be wonderful.

What makes all these people trek to this experience every year?

One could ask the same question about people who go to the Super Soap weekend :lmao:

I could be wrong but I believe that in one later version of the scene where Luke takes off Darth's "mask", Sebastain Shaws' face was digitally replaced with Hayden Christainson's face because he played Darth when he was younger. It's so very confusing.

May the force be with you Tracy!

Hi Michelle!! Thank you so much for you kind words. I enjoy writing PTR's and TR's.

I will probably be reminding Bill how good of a woman I am when we are going through the horribly crowded DHS. It will be really interesting :rotfl:.

Bill and I are not adventureous eaters, but I will post about our experience at "The Wave".

I'm excited for the Wave!

Hedy, that is what I love about my DISer friends, where else would you tell people where you are going to eat and they would be excited for you?

Hi Heidi!! So much pressure now :scared:, if you think the report "will be wonderful" :rotfl:.

SSW? Well, dang I thought people wouldn't bring that up :rolleyes1. You are right.

Oh Heidi, we do not talk about how they "digitally replaced" things in the older Star Wars movies in this house :sad2:. Bill says "You DON'T mess with a classic!!! Ever!!"

So much pressure now , if you think the report "will be wonderful" .

Yes I want "wonderful" and with an amazing use of the english language and plenty of pictures. But not just pictures and reviews of your meals....but please roam around the room taking pictures and getting reviews from other diners. How's that for pressure:thumbsup2 And if you have video...please have Bill start "the wave" and see who else he can get to do it. :rotfl2:

(can you tell I had too much sugar today????)

You had subscribed to my PTR, so I had to come check out yours. I'm moving to Florida and I think you will be at WDW more than I will!

Since we will be at SWW at the same time we will have to keep an eye out for you. My DH has ordered a t-shirt for me, it says "I love my geek"! Perfect for SWW.

Heidi, you are so funny :lmao:. I told Bill about your suggestion about him starting "the wave" and got this: :sad2:. He just doesn't get us DISers, does he :confused3? With my luck the restaurant won't have anything we like :rotfl:.

Good luck on your move! I love the slogan on the t-shirt. Bill is a "geek" too. If you see us feel free to say hi.
