EPCOT/MAGIC KINGDOM/BE OUR GUEST
We will probably be in bed by 11pm after a long first day the night before so waking up early to get to EMH for Epcot shouldnt be that big a deal. EMH begin at 8a and we should probably be pulling into the parking lot around 8:30a. Like Ive said before, on our last trip the sheer amount of things we were able to do during EMH and right after really convinced Hannah that getting up early to take advantage was well worth it. She is definitely not a crowds person, so EMH helps a lot.
First up will be Soarin. This has to be Hannahs favorite ride in all of Disney, she just loves it. After we ride that we may grab a fastpass depending on when the return window is. Re-riding isnt the biggest goal during EMH for us, its getting through everything at least once so we can wait later if we need to for re-rides. We will probably head over to Test Track to grab a fastpass as Im guessing the line will be too long not to. If its short we may just skip the fastpass and ride stand-by though. After grabbing our fastpass we will head over to Mission Space to ride to kill time before our FP window opens. If everything works out the way Im guessing it should here we will be done with the BIG 3 in Epcot before EMH ends. This will allow us to hit up Ellens Energy Adventure, The Living Seas (yes with Nemo), Turtle Talk with Crush, Journey Into Imagination, and Spaceship Earth all before the park gets overly crowded. We will probably leave Spaceship Earth for last as it always seems to get overcrowded at the beginning of the day as people are coming in. If FPs and ride times work in our favor then we probably should be done with Epcot around lunch time. There will be no need to stress about hitting every single ride on this trip into Epcot because we will be coming back on a slower projected day later in the trip.
Sometime around 11a-12p the plan is to hop on the monorail and head to the slowest projected park that day: MAGIC KINGDOM!
After lunch we will be spending the rest of the day in this park. Its projected to be pretty slow and I hope this projection holds up. To be honest I have no idea where we will eat since there are so many quick service options in this park. I personally am hoping for Tortuga Tavern for a burrito as we had these on our last trip and they were amazing. This is a pretty good guess too considering typically I like to go around the park from Adventureland Fronteirland Fantasyland Tomorrowland.
The plan for Magic Kingdom on this day will be to hit all of the small things that will have little to no line when we show up. However, I do plan on having us FP some of the bigger rides if we can and I will not turn down riding a bigger ride if the wait is 20-30min or so. Rides/Attractions on my for sure list for this day include: The Tiki Room, Pirates (if we can), Its a Small World, Philharmagic (if we can), Under the Sea (if we can), Teacups, Tomorrowland Speedway, People Mover, Astro Orbitor (if we can), Buzz (if we can), and the Laugh Floor.
Depending on when we get to the park we will have 6-7 hours inside Magic Kingdom so we will have plenty of time to get through rides. I feel like that list is doable depending on what we are able to FP and how busy the park turns out to be. I doubt we will hit everything on there and a couple of big rides will probably be added when we FP them, but I think this is a good place to start. Just like with Epcot, we will be back to Magic Kingdom another day so there will be no reason to stress about what we hit or dont hit.
Dinner will be at 6:30p at Be Our Guest. Im still a little disappointed that California Grill is going to be closed during our trip. At least thats the way it looks right now as they arent even giving tentative dates that it could be open by on the website. I check probably once a week to see if it will let me make a reservation. If I can at some point I may switch from Be Our Guest to California Grill but at this point I think Im sticking with Be Our Guest.
That all being said, I am excited to eat here, Ive been looking forward to a chance at eating here ever since I first saw the concept and videos of the construction. Im really hoping that they bring us out some of the grey stuff to try since we will be celebrating but of course there is no way to know for sure if they will. Ill probably stay away from the French style cuisine as we will be eating at Chefs de France later in the trip though. Since our reservations are at 6:30p and the park closes at 7p for
MNSSHP it should be interesting to walk back through the park with that going on. After dinner we will hop back on the monorail and head back to Epcot to retrieve the car. I dont plan on going back into Epcot, but there is a chance if were not too tired of going back into the park and hitting a ride and grabbing a good spot for Illuminations.
