We are traveling with some friends in Oct. & we all are on the DDP and want to eat together, we have selected CRT, Le Cellier, Y&Y. Do we need to do anything special when making our ressie's to make sure we are able to sit together & have the same times?

One of you should make the ressies for all of you or you may not all even get in, nevermind in at the same time. Also these restaurants are really popular. So make your ressies ASAP.If it is a large group they may still split you anyway. Not usually the case but it has happened.

Just make the reservation for everyone in your party. No need to split things up just because you are on the dining plan.

As noted, if your party is a large one, you might be told that your party COULD be split up. That's because Disney reserves things based on tables, not number of people. For example, my party of twelve was really three parties of four but we all sat together anyway. the splitting up of a large party usually is not a problem at all.

The only downfall to making one reservation for all is that in most cases (probably all), the entire party will need to be present before you are seated.

Yes in past years we were able to be seated even if everyone wasn't there. Lat year they WOULD NOT seat us until the entire party was present. So keep that in mind. As the other posters stated, just make the ADR's for your entire party they can split the credits by parties, just tell them once you are seated that you are 2 parties, or whatever. It isn't an issue we did it for every meal last year.
