Making ADR for Cinderella Royal Table

I am making an ADR for Cinderella Royal Table tomorrow. If I call in a couple days and get a better time than my reservation that I call for tomorrow, can I cancel my first reservation (even though I paid for it by credit card) and trade it for a different time on a different date?

Not to throw a wet blanket on your trip, but you will be lucky to even get a reservation. This is the hardest seat to get in the house. Good Luck!

Good Luck--- start dialing before 7am, but to answer your question- cancel your original ressie after you get your new one

Now that they also have a lunch and dinner at CRT as well as it now costing two dining credits - I think it is easier to get a ressie. Last year I was calling around this time for an Oct trip and I had several mornings to choose from. I would still call around the 180 mark but I bet they are easier to get nowadays...

When is your trip? I had read that this reservation was next to impossible to get so I planned on calling exactly at the 180 mark. But that fell on a Saturday and we had plans and I didn't get a chance to make the call until the following Monday. I got the reservation I wanted for an 8am breakfast. But then I decided that was a bit early with travel time from the hotel and all that so about 2 weeks after the 180 day mark I called and asked about changing that reservation and got it changed to 9:15 with no problems. The CM said she would not cancel the original reservation until we knew the new one was going to be accepted. I was told that the credit card was just to hold the reservation. I don't think you are charged when you book they only keep the credit card number on file incase you are a no show. They told me the cancellation policy but I can't remember it exactly I think you can cancel within 24 or 48 hours or something with no charge.
