Making a budget

I think my Fiance is having fun coloring each page! I'm glad i made them for him! This will be a trip to remember!!

First of all.....congratulations on your engagement! And, second....keep in mind you will be at WDW during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Always nice to have some extra funds available for some of the great food and drinks available from all the F & W kiosks. They make it really easy for you....you can purchase a wrist gift card (it's like a gift card on a stretchy bracelet) and just use that to pay for your snacks and drinks. My husband and I really like the idea because we can decide exactly how much we are willing to spend and just put that amount on the gift card. Plus it's so easy when at the kiosks because they just swipe the card from your wrist! Keep in mind...Epcot will be extremely (and I do mean extremely) crowded from early Thursday evening thru Sunday evening during your visit due to F & W going on....we've found over the years that Mon thru Wed are the best days to visit F & W. I think a lot of local/regional visitors tend to visit more thru the weekend hence the much larger crowds. Anyway....have a great time!

We have driven from MD several times. When we drove overnight we couldn't dovmuchvthe next day, and ended up getting a hotel on the way home because we were tired after spending 7 days in the parks.

This last trip we traveled in the day time, checked in around midnight and were able to enjoy our first park day much more. We left for home around noon and were able to drive straight thru

Watch the speed limit on 95 in the southern part of Va. If you get a ticket there it will require you to appear in court or have a local attorney represent you!

We are also going in October - I got the $15 tickets from frontier!

Thank you! I'm so excited to start planning my wedding! I've been during f&w so def will have extra $ for that! Thanks! And I do know how busy it can be I know when to avoid it haha I believe we have a ADR at the Biergarten on Monday so that will work great

Are you taking your own vehicle (as opposed to renting)? Every time I've driven, it seems like I have "routine" car maintenance that I don't anticipate. And for some reason, I always need a new tire or 2 right before I leave. So you might budget a bit for an oil change and/or quick inspection before you leave, but that might come out of your regular household budget...not really the Disney trip budget.

Honestly almost every family trip is like that! But we have plenty in other savings for that if we need it. Thanks! Unfortunately one trip my sister was making to visit us from Texas the night before she left their car was broken into and stereo was stolen so she had to deal with that right before she left.

One trip to Disney we actually had to stop and my dad had to change the brake pads. Or something, it was quite a delay for our trip. We hung out at a book store while they fixed it in the parking lot.
