Has anyone ever bought t-shirts or sweaters from zazzle.com

DH and I have yet to be able to find a Nemo or Stitch t-shirts for adults, so I thought I might do this for his birthday and then he can take it on our next trip to Disneyland in December and DisneyWorld in Jan.

I bought a tank top from them. It's pink with tinkerbell. I'm happy with it. The color is not too bright- probably would have been better with a white shirt. Other than that it's fine, Also, I got it a few days after I ordered it - very prompt! HTH :) :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Never used "zazzle", but I wasn't impressed by the tees offered by Disney, so we're making our own. Any local craft store can help you out with this project. I personally think it's more fun and can be a great way to channel that anticipation, esp. in the week leading up to your trip.

sunkissed... can you share some pointers about making your won? i have made my girls tanktops with tinkerbell and their favorite characters, but it was with the light colored tshirt transfers. the only dark colored transfers i have found, makes a white mark around where you iron it on, it isnt clear like the light color ones...also where did you find pictures to use????
thank in advance

I used zazzle a few weeks ago. Really liked the site. Fast servie too. One word of advice tho...they do warn that some styles run small...they are not kidding!!! I normally wear a large so uped the size to xl, it's still on the small size. But I love the tee-shirts.

Tinkandhook -

I have not used the dark colour transfers, so I cannot give you advice on that, but can tell you that some great pics can be found through a Google search. I am going to check out Zazzle now. More later.

I just finished making our families matching t-shirts for our upcoming trip. 12 of them!
Has a logo on the front (picture of Mickey and the words "Mickey's Magical" across the top and "Family Gathering" with 2004 underneath. I just created it in Word. Put in a pic and used wordart to wrap the words around the pic. I also this year put numbers and our surname on the back. WE will look like a whole team. Also helps differentiate whose shirts are whose.
You don't need any special software if you have a color printer. On most of the new ones, you can change the preference to print in a mirror image which is what you need to do on transfer paper.
The shirts I got at www.shirtwholesaler.com for around $5 a piece and the transfer paper is roughly $1 per page. Fairly inexpensive, but time consuming.

Just a word of caution: I've used the computer transfer method and you need to be VERY careful to make sure that the ink is completely dry before transfering. Also, the paper I used took forever to transfer.

Took a look at Zazzle, too. I was impressed by their site and design flexibility. Saved a few designs and may use them in the future.

Okay, someone talk me into spending the $90 it's going to cost me for four personalized Disney shirts. :earseek:

4 Tees for $90, I'm assuming at Zazzle, is not bad. The design I priced was just under $50 for two.

;) How's that?:smooth:

I bit the bullet and placed my order this morning. :cool1: I justified the purchase by telling myself we would spend at least that much at DTD buying t-shirts...and at least the ones from Zazzle will be one of a kind.

I'm excited for them to arrive, I hope they don't take long. We leave in seventeen days and my mom has promised to put our names on the back of ours shirts with iron-on transfers! We'll look like such the tourists! :teeth:

Just bumping to the top to say that my t-shirts arrived today and they are awesome! My two boys got so excited when they saw them. I purchased the basic t-shirts for them and they are nicer than I'd anticipated. :hyper:
