Make your own perfume, anyone do this?

Now that the Med cruises are over, did anyone do the excursion in Nice where you make your own perfume? There was much confusion whether or not each person made their own bottle or if it was one bottle per group. We cancelled it because of this, but I really wanted to know what it was like and if it was worth the $$...

I didn't do that one, but in Villafrance the next port of call, we had a private tour and we visited a perfume factory, we had a quick tour, including a guessing game on smells for the kids and big kids and an explanation of how the perfumes are formulated, how to look after them and then suggestions for different perfumes for women/girls/ men etc.

It was very good. But we didn't make our own.
