If you are making the tile coasters, make sure you use a permanent ink if you are stamping the images (versamark, etc) And then seal the tiles as well (Several coats). Make sure you let each step dry well before the next step.

I make the altered clipboards all the time. The clipboards are only $1 at Walmart and I use scrapbooking supplies I already have. I also have made altered picture frames, glass bulb ornaments filled with curled paper (empty glass bulbs can be found at Michaels), a calendar on a cookie sheet, altered photo storage boxes, altered birdhouse, altered a clock, altered letters, and altered mailboxes. Basically anything can be altered with a little modge podge and scrapbooking paper/supplies.

One of the easiest gifts I give that people always seem to really enjoy is chocolate (almond bark) dipped peppermint sticks. My mom's aunt uses them to stir her coffee. I wrap them in wax paper and twist and tie the ends. It makes a really cute gift topper.
