I saw this on the Arts and Crafta board ans was surprised no one passed it on.
Oriental Trading has thingies to make your own croc jibbitz. Go to Orientaltrading.com and put in item IN-68/45296. I am going to order some tonight, they look like they would be more comfortable than buttons.

Has anyone made these? If so, could you post pics. Trying to find some jibbitz/shoe doodles for DD but they are crazy expensive. She has 6 pairs of crocs/croc knockoffs so she needs a ton of jibbitz to fill those shoes.

TIA,

momma leaps

I purchased several jibbitz at WDW........ten to be exact......six were gone within the first hour......fell out......Grandaughter wears Disney Crocs.
I was talking with a CM later in the day at the playground in Epcot....she said she is embarassed to have sell them...huge design flaw.
She also said hundereds are found everyday in the parks. If that is correct just look around and you may be able to fill your crocs. :cool1:
They might work fine in regular Crocs.

They DON'T (aren't supposed to) work in Disney Crocs -- the Mickey shaped holes don't keep them in. Jibbitz are only designed for regular Crocs.

They say don't use them in ADULT disney crocs. dd has them in her child's disney crocs and they are fine.
Thanks for the info on oriental trading... checking it out.

Did you read the "official" name for them? They are Clog Embellishment DOODADS. I can finally prove to my family that it is officially a word and I know what I am talking about when I say doodads.

mmmmmmmmmm....wonder why Disney is marketing them for Disney crocs and selling them everywhere at WDW if in fact they aren't designed for Disney Crocs???
We used them in child size Disney Crocs. :confused3

thanks for the info

i think it will be just a matter of time before they make them to fit the disney crocs or at least i am hoping anyway

I bought some a the dollar store that were cute that dd wears in her play crocs that she wears outside. I also bought some real jibbitz at Dicks bought 3 packs of 4 for 10.00 each and used a 10/25 coupon.Still expensive at 12 jibitz for 20.00, but better than 30.00.

I wanted to add that I bought some at Michaels and they have the oval backs and round backs (both) the round ones seemed to fit my sons disney crocs quite well HTH

They are little plastic charms that you slip into the holes of Croc shoes. You can getthem with Disney characters, sports, ect....they are really popular with the 7-9 year old "set" in our house....:lmao: :lmao:

If you don't want to make your own, this site http://www.springhillcharms.com/onlinestore/results.cfm?Category=CRO&subcat=ALL&refresh=yes

has shoe charms really cheap. They have some Disney ones too. The more you order of each one, the cheaper it gets. Three Disney Jibbits are $1 each, if you order 6 they are .85 and 10 are .75. The non Disney ones start at .50. Shipping is a set $4.95.

I just placed an order, I'll let you all know what they are like when I get them.

Where at Michaels did you find them? I looked the other day, but couldn't find them. Of course, no one actually works in that store, so I couldn't ask anyone!

They were on the side of one of the front end caps by the registers. They are called snap:) itz. I think they were $1.99 for two charms. I also believe I saw them at JoAnn's too. HTH

I was finally able to find them! Thank you. My kids are thrilled. For those interested, they had two different sets of pirate themed ones - very cute.
